Performance-based makes the most sense. I see random people upset about losing their stalls because they may be passionate about running them but the cold truth is they hardly have them open and do a pretty shit job of running their stalls, opposed to people who do great on them but are just as vulnerable as everyone else to lose them.
I think their many issue in the server. The main issue is the have someone in our gang do it means less interaction with people idk how to explain it. The reason why food booth is popular is cause they make money and once something comes along that makes more money many people will just leave cause it’s not worth the time or effort. So Buddha is right to say performance based should be a thing making it so you could put money down for x amount, but if you fail to do the requirements you lose all the money you put down which means either you are committed or you just not and if you are not don’t get one. I think wasabi is the best example of people that were committed to even before the stalls were a thing to cau buying it and never opening it as to why that system was always flawed. I think manor and besties will do it for a while then move on hydra on the other hand I think they will figure that out and stay. I think lang will have someone later run his booth kinda deal.

Just mechanically speaking, why wouldn't you be allowed to resume last position after a server reset. Your character was in the city in a place, why can't they keep that place?

i wont lie that's actually a good idea for the food shops to be performance based although i would wonder how that works if you're sick and cant play or something is it up to your co owner or workers to keep the shop open? i would assume yeah?
The stalls arent meant to be single person run. It a stepping stone to becoming a restaurant. Success in the stalls require RPing w people and hiring them to help them run it around the clock. So yea.
