If you would've told me during early big bang that Sheldon would be married and have kids and not Raj I would not have believed you. They did Raj so dirty.
Exactly on the Raj part, my mom was just saying the other day that he was the only one without anyone and it was sad that the writers didn't get him someone by the end. My parents watch the reruns of Big Bang Theory daily, they've seen the show through multiple times. My mom prefers to watch Buffy reruns and Big Bang or Young Sheldon, those are her main go to's.
True ! And it can be seen on her effect on Jim Parsons who became more confident and relaxed on his interactions. I think Penny's character made him too cautious and tensed. 😊😊kaley being young and a bit forward.
I'd have to go through all the episodes involving Amy from "The Dirty Sock" to "The Tiara" but when she's all deadpan and emotionless until she sees the tiara 1:45 and then she's all like "Put it on me put it on me! Put it on me put it on me!" That's when we see her creamy caramel filling leak out of the hard chocolate façade.
I am glad they kept her in, and I love that Jim Parsons fought to keep her, especially since I also like Mayim Bialik anyway, and I loved her character in the show, I would have missed her.
@@darkeyezeno at the end he apologized to his friends for how he treated them and didn’t make his speech all about him he also considered his friends like his second family
IMO, Kunal Nayyar may have preferred the story line for Raj’s character to develop this way - given his heritage and cultural background - and anyhow… for those who suffer from Raj’s lack of an on screen love interest, keep in mind that IRL Kunal Nayyar married exceptionally well! 😊
I liked Blossom when they introduced her. She was wonderfully weird. But they kind of neutered her and turned her into something of a shrew in deference to turning Sheldon into a real boy (which never really happened).
I'm glad they let her evolve into the Amy we grew to love in Seasons 6+. If they would have kept her cold and robotic, it would have ruined the Sheldon-Amy relationship, if not, the show. Just as with Leslie Winkle (who was also a condescending, annoying female "Sheldon"), the initial Amy would have run out of material by the end of 1 season. While I miss the show (I watch the re-runs often), they did a great job ending it when and how they did.
I know her character wasn't introduced until "Young Sheldon," but I think an adult Paige would have been a MUCH better partner for adult Sheldon. There would have been so much more depth and dynamism to their relationship. Amy was okay, but Paige would have been a home run!
I don´t know about that... Paige and Sheldon were friends, awkward friends, but friends and nothing more. Having Paige as his love interest and partner would have felt wrong in my opinion. Paige was always socially capable, at times she was smarter than Sheldon and more "normal" or funtioning in society. It would have put Sheldon in a really hard situation and I don´t know, how they would have handled it in the show. Amy herself was awkward and nerdy enough to not give the audience the feeling, she is superior to Sheldon and more capable than him. They did this with young Sheldon when introducing Paige and thought, I found her really great as a character, Sheldon always got worse, when she appeared. Not sure, how show runners would handle turning such a long term friendship into a sudden romance...
Very suspicious and wicked of Mayim to promote astrology so heavily, something that's been so thoroughly debunked, especially when she's said to be a scientific person...
Do you think any other actress could have been Dr. Amy Farrah Fowler?
No. She's perfect
She will always be Amy but yes… there’s a lot of funny actresses out there who could have let loose playing her
I've heard Kate Micucci auditioned for the role.
Mayim ... Acting Chops AND Intellect. Oh yeah, and comedic timing. 😂
"Unwilling?" Try UNKNOWING. 😂
'Mayim' Amy was HYSTERICALLY Good! She earned Her Place As A Welcomed and Funny Person. I'm Glad She was a Regular 😊

He got to hang out with Buffy. I'd call that a huge win.
Only loose end is raj

Raj never had any hope , pure feminine energy ain’t getting him married
I'm so happy they kept Mayim in, she's the perfect partner to Sheldon

RAJ: You know who we should get: TV's "Blossom"!
HOWARD: We are NOT getting TV's "Blossom"...!

That's perfect😀
I think she was a great addition to the cast. I also liked her evolution throughout the rest of the series.

She is literally the reason Sheldon was able to evolve emotionally, both Amy and Penny.
Before Sheldon met and got involved with Amy he was often an insufferable jerk.
And he continued to be one through the ending of the show.
And then he was an insufferable jerk
Haha 😂 @@jyyyb

She'll always be innocent and Blossom to me ❤
“Woah!”
I love character development in TV shows and movies. Sheldon, Thor and Ironman are my favorites
I’m not sure Raj’s character ever really evolved over the show. He kind of got stuck in almost-a-stereotype land.
The only development he got was being able to talk in front of women without being drunk.

Loved her is Big Bang and she will always be Blossom.
Yes hes great
Loved Amÿ and Màyim equally. Great personality . 😂
The title was intentionally misleading to get the people who didn't like the Amy character to click on the video. Smart.

Amy will always be my favorite. And Howard is my favorite among the guys 💕

Great series, but I hated the Leonard / Penny relationship. I would have kept Zack as Penny's love interest. He was funny.
Amy made the show less exist. I loved Amy she's my favorite
Good old Blossom, went on to become a real doctor, then came back to play a doctor on tv.
I know her character wasn't introduced until "Young Sheldon," but I think an adult Paige would have been a MUCH better partner for adult Sheldon. There would have been so much more depth and dynamism to their relationship. Amy was okay, but Paige would have been a home run!
Agreed! She was Sheldon's equal even as a child.

Paige would have been bored to sobs with sheldon.
@@Plethorality how about Paige and Raj?
I hope that an adult Paige gets to guest star on the Stuart and Denise spin-off that's being made so we can find out what happened to her.
Amy and Bernadette made that show 😃
Sorry, I'm in the Penny ♥Sheldon camp.
Aah Shamy!

I hate Amy's character.
I loved her
Absolutely. Hate her daily hissy fits and making Sheldon go quiet. Not funny at all
They kicked her off Jeopardy for a reason. Didn't want her dragging down 2 shows with her "eye acting" .
An awful character that made TBBT become The Sheldon Show even more.
