- New RYOBI RM 480 EX Electric 38" Riding Lawn Mower
Enjoying the first cut with the RYOBI 38 inch riding mower. I was going back and forth deciding between a gas or electric mower, and chose this one. One drawback is RYOBI uses lead acid batteries, compared to most other electric mowers that use Lithium. Other than that, it cut pretty well. The ride was good and the mower handled well. I was able to take care of the entire lawn in under 25 minutes, compared to the 1.5 hours it took using My TORO 22" mower. Upgrade from 22" to 38" is a difference between night and day.
your one of the few videos that actually has the sound of the mower and not narration, thanks !
Looks cool
It is important to note that this is a lead acid battery system, which will have reduced life if you drain the battery. Lithium does not have this problem. Lead acid batteries need constant charging as well. Buyer beware of reduced battery life.
how are the track marks on lawn after riding that 600lb beast all summer? or non issue?...
Just found your channel.. Any chance your in polk county?? Houses look almost the same as my neighborhood. Great mower! awesome vid!
I'm in Manatee County. Thanks for watching.
They need a 40v removable battery version. I know they got the 80v out now but I rather have this.
Nice lawn. Questions, Sir. Will this riding lawn mower vacuum the lawn while mowing?
You can buy a bagger for it. Thanks for watching.
Never buy a machine like this that uses lead acid batteries. That's yesterdays tech, and will hurt your wallet, due to very few charge cycles.
Worst mower ever made, battery is useless. It's louder than a regular lawnmower. Chinese junk
Really …. 70 d b vrs. 90db . Much tighter turning radius. Cut 30 minutes of mowing time for me..
@@wtkidz Nice im wonderin if cause of 600lbs if it leaves track ruts in the lawn or is it non issue.?
