Happy 14th birthday {Haylee Danyelle Mazzella}

Well, happy 14th birthday Haylee. Hard to believe how grown up you would have been now. 10 years ago you celebrated your last birthday on earth, it seems such a long time ago - but for your family it probably only feels like yesterday. So much has happened since you were taken, so much that you didn't get to do, so many dreams that didn't get to happen. Everything keeps moving and each year goes by to quickly - your absence doesn't get any easier, people just learn how to deal with it in their own way. You are never forgotten, always remembered, thought of and loved more and more each day. A beautiful, loving and thoughtful soul who lived life to the fullest, was taken way to soon. Until your reunited in heaven with your family, sleep tight Haylee, and happy birthday.
Haylee passed away 9 years ago, 03/06/2006, due to a tragic drowning. Haylee was left in the care of a relative, who promised to watch her in the pool at a family BBQ, whilst her mom Sonya, went inside to change her son. Sadly the promise was broken, the relative went inside and left Haylee unattended. In those few minutes Haylee drowned. The saddest part? Her death was preventable, it didn't and shouldn't of happened. She should still be here, celebrating what would have been her 14th birthday.
Raise childhood drowning awareness.
Never leave a child unattended in or around the body of water, it takes as little as 20 seconds, and they can drown in any amount of water. Drowning's are preventable, we can stop them happening, these deaths do not have to happen. Your eye's will save your child, not floatable toys.
