No.. you can download 32 bit only.. Mysql has officially released only 32 bit versions... you can get 64 bit in other websites, but ultimately they package 32 bit software with the name of 64 bit... Its not necessarily required to have all softwares 64 bit.. 32 bit ones also perform good as well

There is a way by which you can reset your mysql password. Shutdown the mysql server from windows services explorer. Then, open command prompt as administrator, and navigate to the MySql server installation folder, where the mysqld.exe file is located. Usually it is found in C drive in the installation directory of mysql. Run this command in command prompt- mysqld.exe -u root --skip-grant-tables Now, minimize that command prompt window as it will is very important, and open another command prompt window as administrator, and again navigate to the installation directory of mysql server, and run the following command - mysqld.exe Then, type the following command - use mysql; Then, type the following command - UPDATE user SET Password = PASSWORD('NEW-PASSORD') WHERE User = 'root'; Here, replace 'NEW-PASSWORD' with the password u want to set. Now, just close all the windows simply, and restart the mysql server from windows services explorer and restart your computer. Then, try accessing mysql normally.. if its accessible, then its good. If not, I'll try to make up a video on it soon.

It means password you enter is incorrect.. Make sure that Caps Lock is turned on/off as passwords are *Case Sensitive*. Make sure, that Num Lock is turned on/off as your password might include *digits*. May be you forgot your password. If that's the case, then watch my video on resetting MySQL password. You have to copy to the same location, and copy all the database files. Failing to do it correctly will cause issue.

For running the latest version of MySQL:
64bit processor
Windows 10 64bit
4gb ram
You can download older versions of MySQL if you have lower specs..
