@@iyyaded ah okay very interesting so far i remenber it right - she didn´t want to released it because she didn´t liked the background sound... but every chat she was asked for the song .... and so she finally dropped the youtube version...
i am sure there will be an improvement - but i really like the youtube version ... amazing fact it didn´t see her live but i have seen some videos performing her live the song its so amazing - sitting her on the stage in front of you und singing out everything for the audience - such an amazing live performance...
but this is also very good - i really love her stripped versions but also her original videos / sounds ... depend on my mood which i prefer

Faouzia’s voice is like a beautiful viola. It’s not quite light and crisp like a violin and not as deep and melodic as a cello. It’s right there in the middle…with grit and poise and holds its own against all the others. It sings above stays in our heads long after it stops. A legend!!!

I’m so happy you pointed out that her voice sounds like a viola. I’m a violist and I’m also a faouzia fan. Her voice has the richness of a viola while still having her Moroccan riffs and runs. Her vibrato is so fast and beautiful. Her head voice is light and bright but still maintains power just like her low notes are rich and dark but still booming. She definitely could be classified as an alto with her low notes yet she still has a good upper range but I could also see her being descobed as a soprano with a low extension.
I don't feel like listening to anything else after listening to faouzia and her music
