What a great journey this GlockStore has been. One of my sons took me to a 'glock store' when he was stationed at Pendleton, over 30yrs ago. So glad they eventually showed up in my backyard in TN [although I have yet to see Lenny in the store like the old days]. I highly recommend a visit to the Nashville GS, far beyond your typical visit to a gun store. You will enjoy it even if you are not 'glocky', but beware that you may convert yourself while there. Thank you Lenny, and staff. Very well done.
Uncle Lenny. The Aimpoint Acro has been my ultimate favorite on my G45. It looks so utilitarian and functional at the same time. I love the combo. I have it milled low enough where I have it as a race cut with rear dovetail removed and a nice front sight
The slide in this video features our "Combat Cut" where we cut a new dovetail in front of the optic cut. This allows for better co-witnessing with iron sights and protects the optics glass from impacts.
We are consistently developing more advanced programs for milling Glock slides for optics. Since filming this, we have updated the machining program and are testing the new cuts on various slides.
@@glockstore I’m considering getting my 19x milled for the Acro p2 in the combat cut done by you guys and when I saw this I wasn’t to fond of how high it sat up so hearing this is good
@Keaton.Miller-Trent Thank you for considering us to mill your slide. Thankfully, our cut sits lower now. If you email our Customer Service team, we can send you a photo of the updated cut on Monday.
I was getting ready to ask the same question as to why it's sits so high up. I think a follow up video or perhaps adding photos to this video would go a long way.
Talking about the importance of the tool for the battery cap. You are very sly and deceitful with word choice, huh? Its aluminum "body". What the matter? Can' be honest and tell ppl its a plastic battery cap? Use the plastic tool with the plastic cap bc acro wanted more profit. Typical slimy salesman.
It’s an aluminum battery cap too. The issue is if you use a metal tool on the battery cap, you can mar it. The plastic is weaker than aluminum so it will get damaged before the cap is. Also, you can hear that it’s aluminum whenever I drop it on the table right after I take it off to expose the battery

It's also great to hear you're milling the optic cuts even lower now, that should help with better co-witness options.

I did the slide cut for my G17 and it was done well and returned within the 10 days. If I ever need another slide milled, I’d use GS again.
You guy’s are on top of your game.
Dovetail clamps have incredible clamping force, for those who may not know.
BOOM. 💪💪 LEENY IS THE GLOCK GOD.
Seeing red dots like this make me want to go back to using iron sights.
Great work!
If you guys offered DLC coating services i would send you guys more stuff!! DLC is king of the coatings!
Would be great showing it mount directly to a G40.
I applied for 2nd mortgage to buy the Aimpoint awaiting approval.
Nice 👍
Will this co-witness standard hight sights on a Glock 21 Gen 4 or Gen 5?
Does this cut work with an MOS slide?
Will this slide cut work on a 17L or other slides with weight reduction cuts ?
Great question! We will look into this!
Could you mill a MOS to AOS cut?
When is the 2024 open house video coming out?
Can yall do a glock 17 slide for acro, but keep the rear sight. I don't like the combat cut.
yes, however, the optic cut won't be as deep as the combat cut option.
will you mill out my old xd for a rmr cut?
Aren’t the p2s failing? Did aimpoint fix the root cause?
How do you tell what gen a glock 21 is
45 acp
You didnt zoom on the slide cut , did you cut an external dovetail to fit the red dot ? Is it the same price as a regular mos cut ? Nice .

@@glockstore thank you
The acro has a dovetail clamp.
I’ll buy a ACRO when they finally decide to make one with a green reticle. Until then, Holosun gets my money.
How do you determine the depth you can cut out of the slide?
Keep going until it sounds expensive? lol
I always appreciate your content. thank you
Do you do optic cut for HK p30 for deltapoint foot print.
thank you in advance
Currently, we mill Glock and a very select few Sig slides for optics. Thanks for the support!
@@glockstore thank you
👍🏻👍🏻
No plate needed lenny
If you buy any other gun, they already have optic cuts. No idea why it isn't standard on blocks.
No gun comes with this optic cut.
@@johnny_monnier is it a special optic cut?
@frankcastle9691 Yes. Completely different.
If you are able to cut the slide deeper why didn’t you? The optic looks like it’s sitting pretty high on the slide.

18k is a lot..Sheez...
This cut is not deep enough, optic still sits way too tall
Yeah, looks a little too high sitting on the slide.
Since filming this we have updated the machining program to cut this particular footprint even lower than shown in the video.
@@glockstore would appreciate a video showing a comparison between the old ACRO cut and the new, lower one

This is why you should say no to steroids. Just saying.
For a guy his age, ripped, still with hair is actually awesome. And been I’ve been ordering from this guy since his home catalog days before the tube.
