1️⃣ Hyaluronic acid is a humectant which means it absorbs water from the environment, absorbs water from the deeper layers of the skin and plumps the skin, and hydrates the skin.
👉🏻 However, if you apply Hyaluronic acid on an absolutely dry skin surface it only takes moisture from the deeper layers of the skin making the skin dry.
2️⃣ You must top the Hyaluronic acid serum with a moisturiser to lock the Hyaluronic acid within so if you don’t do that again it dries up your skin
3️⃣ If you use a Hyaluronic acid which has a large molecular weight it does not gets absorbed into the skin leaving the skin dry and dehydrated

Using hyalugel plus after misting my face with water. But immediately after applying the hyalugel plus, my skin feels extremely dry.
Though I apply Emolene cream after that.
Why this is happening??

How do I know if my hyaluronic acid products are causing issues to my skin? Like people say it drys them but how do I tell if it’s dry on me? What are the signs of dryness? I don’t have tight skin or flaking when using the product so does that mean I’m good?
