Dennis why I really like your videos and you as a person is because you never act like a snobby rich person and you always pay a very fair price to everyone you buy cars from. You don’t try to rip them off to get every penny you can make. You get your hands dirty, to make money rather than just paying other people to do it. You don’t need to make these videos but you do it anyways. Thank you.
Definitely a smart business man, found something he loves & found a way to make a great living at it. Obviously surrounds himself with guys with the same passion. Great model to follow.
@@BuckNaked639 yes, absolutely. A lot of people find something they love and find a way to make money from it but the way Dennis treats people is what I really like. And yes he surrounds himself with hard-working people. Guy probably has enough money to sit back and relax for the rest of his life, but he gets up every day and goes to work.
I agree 110% with this comment and the 2 replies. I enjoy your videos and have learned a lot too about cars. I'm glad that he searches and works on different cars, especially Mustangs. I had a Mustang as a HS gradation present and had it for about 3yrs, wish I still had it. Thanks Dennis!!

You are probably the most down to earth guy who shows respect to everyone. That's tops in my book. I kick myself for not keep some of my older cars, 76 Trans am, 69 chevelle. 71 torino, 66 Bellaire 2 door. 71 vw squareback.
My regrets: 68 Roadrunner, 67 Chevelle SS.

Ever since Matchbox came out with an M1 in 1980-81 ,I've loved this car. Very overlooked as a supercar. Since I was 11 or 12, this is and will always be my favorite BMW . Great job on it. Looks perfect.
What do the keyholes under the rear side windows (both sides) do?

First 911 I saw was a 1965 in British racing Green at Dothan, Alabama. It was spectacular! Owned by a Playboy Playmate who was shopping for her boyfriend at a "high class" men's store in Dothan. Both of them were outstanding!
Great video! The amount of care that goes into your builds is impressive! Having the speaker cones re-papered in the M1 is but one example.

I enjoyed hearing about the speakers being rebuilt because back in 1974&75 I had a part-time job during my highschool years rebuilding the old wood console black and white televisions speakers!
One of the many reasons we follow your channel is your love for these cars and sharing these cars with us who love them also and can't afford some of them and appreciate them anyway.

That M1 is beyond sweet! I've been a BMW fan my whole life. First car was a 320i cause my dad wouldn't let me get a V8. Had dreams about owning a M1 someday but that never happened 😂. Seeing this one is almost as good as owning. Dennis and team did it right!
That has to be one of the most stressful careful drives Dennis ever had, imagine it got wrecked through no fault of his own after the spend on it!!!! Great work all at Collins Bros!

Had a little chuckle when Dennis removed his shoes to drive the M1. I had the opportunity to drive one many years ago but at 6’2” it did not go too well. Classic Italian driver setup of that period. Narrow offset peddle box area really limits shoe options. Not sure if that was Dennis’ reason or just to keep it clean. My challenge, along with shoes, was knees up around the steering wheel and I could not get the gear selector in reverse without hitting my leg and my legging hitting the wheel. The M1 has a great backstory and Dennis is spot on with it being a great addition for a collector.
You and your crew did an amazing job on the M1. I envy the eventual new owner
I really enjoy the knowledge you have on cars, your respectfulness towards all people & your food to finish up the episodes; the sometimes hole in the wall restaurants/little local cafes-definitely places I wanna go when I travel to Texas!!!

I had a 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix that the steering wheel had 0 vibration or pull in it. I could literally take my hands off the wheel going down the highway for longer than you would thank was possible. I ran that car up to 250K. A new radiator would have extended it for who knows how long but I was tired of the car and moved on.

The Targa steering wheel, is it a Victor F? Porsche used them on somevrace cars. If right, its an excellent replacement.
