I really like this trailer a lot. Because Reptile and Baraka both have had a difficult life, but together, it seems like they understand each other. Plus, it seems like Johnny likes and accepts Reptile for Reptile, natural form or any other. Really hope we get to see this new team of heroes grow and bond together as friends.
I hate the "muh sympathizable" villain shit. Baraka cant just be naturally predatory like I dunno, an alien being from another dimension? Everyone is good so it just feels weird killing eachother. No one but shao kahn is allowed to be a true villain. It's stupid.

Ed Booon, older mk fan that really got into it due to MK D.A. and Deception. Bring Hotaru back even as an NPC. Great character model with plenty of potential and unique as he's more neutral than a villain.
@@xJC4RxThe only part of Reptile that was ever boring was the lack of consistency and complete failure to understand his character that the older games caused. He was always deeper than he seemed, you just had to get past the constant re-designs and shallow story glimpses to get it. And while this is another redesign, it feels like they're trying to reinvent him into a cohesive and more engaged state. I'm cautiously optimistic.

He believed if he served Shao he wouldn't get killed and he might find a way to Bing back his race and home realm. You could technically argue he has always been a good guy, he only served Shao out of self preservation and was probably led to believe by Shao that his race would be restored as a reward for his loyalty.

I love human Reptile’s design. The long rear cloth or sash looks and moves like it could be a tail. Clever! Ashra looks epically elegant, Havik looks insanel. This game is clearly appearing to be a true MK and fighting genre masterpiece!
Did anybody notice that haviks xray has his punch his opponent so hard that his own hands tear off before he stabs them with his armbones? That shits pretty metal right there. I know his whole character is like that but the xray is a blink or youll miss it kinda thing

I've never seen MK look this good. I absolutely love how each and every character gets their own specific love and attention, and not just copy/paste to get everyone in. I was a teen when mk started and I love where this franchise has come from. This is insane

Long time?? This is one of the shortest waits between modern MKs. The only reason they pumped out the 3d ones so quickly is because they all shared the same jank engine.
I like the duality of Reptile/Syzoth; playing as both the human and reptilian/Saurian form provides the best of both renditions. Ashrah's redesign works, especially since the original timeline (MKD and MKA) stated she was an Oni who used the kris sword to slay demons as an attempt to purge her Oni form. The new render removes her kasa hat, which made people mistake her for a female Raiden in her debut. Sareena finally displays her demonic form, possibly due to Quan Chi not sustaining her human appearance. If she becomes playable, she may be like Reptile and switch between her human and demonic forms. Havik's redesign is not as good as his MKD appearance; he looks too human and less decayed. His MKD form had him looking more decayed and reminded me of Evil Ash from the film, Army of Darkness. His original "Deadite" look complemented his hyperextensions, bone breaks, and Human Pencil Sharpener fatality (where he quickly devoured both of his opponent's arms and spat out bloody chunks). Hopefully there is an alternate skin that resembles Havik's MKD appearance.
this is a huge win for Mortal Kombat 3D Era fans. Seeing Ashrah and Havik back makes me feel like i’m 10 years old playing Deception again! Can’t wait to play this game
With Reiko and Nitara probably becoming playable this game will be a huge W for 3D Era fans. although i think is weird that there is nothing about Shujinko and Hotaru yet.
I like how Reptile can now shapeshift into his human form from the 2d era and the lizard form from the 3d era. Also Ashrah appearing with black eyes is something i would never expect, and Havik even appeared. Finally one Chaosrealm character that we dreamed for.

As a reptile fanboy since his release, I was super scared he was going to be a kameo character but seeing the TLC the team put into his story, fighting style, and design, I am floored with disbelief. Thanks to everyone working on this game. This looks fantastic!
This is my favourite Reptile design now! I love how he can transform specific parts of his body; it reminds me of my other favourite, MK2 reptile, as he had a human body but reptilian head when he took his mask off for the fatality
It's a little detail that I just noticed... Remember how Johnny and Kenshi were introduced beating the shit out of eachother over Sento ? Kenshi was still abled by then, but when they go to meet Ashra in this trailer, Kenshi has gone blind, and he's resting his hand over Johnny's shoulder so Johnny can guide him, hinting that after their initial fight, they end up getting along pretty well. And I think it's sweet. Especially if Johnny was the one offering Kenshi to guide him while he gets used to his new condition.
I love how Havik hits the opponent so hard that his arms disintegrate to the bone. Also, one of his kicks separates the leg at the knee for extended reach and his torso spin is no longer like twisting a paper bag. His organs burst out of him as he completely severs his torso. Having chaos energy stitch him back together is a nice touch. The animation for his arm reforming shows the skeleton just before reforming. The attention to detail is unbelievable. Havik is perfect!!
Reptile is one of the heros in this game? Finally he gets some respect! Also, some people wanted human Reptile, some wanted lizard Reptile, Netherrealm said "Why not both?"
I love that in Haviks fatal, his flesh falls off as he's punching you💀 quite literally the most unique fatal and a great use of something only that character can do!!!
The fact that Havik hits you so hard in his fatal blow that it exposes his bones which he then uses to stab you is exactly what I wanted out of his character in MK1. I can't wait to main him once this game comes out
I’m really glad reptile has a remained a ninja and we see glimpses of his syzoth identity, this is a really cool way to incorporate everything because at the end of the day reptile was my favorite NINJA

let's not put our hopes to baraka too soon, since in this timeline that their race is instead "retconned" into a virus infecting those who got it, and most likely that his "race" will have a worse role if so they'll get in bad twist, and they'll definitely make a coup for not resolving their outbreak in time (which will also affect how mileena will turn out to be)

Ashrah, Havik and Sareena all look great. But most important, Reptile is FINALLY getting his moment to shine and his design is incredible... I am overwhelmed with joy right now.

This is amazing that they’re bringing the characters from MK Deception here, and giving them a story arc. Reptile looks absolute legit in this game and love this human look they’ve given him.
This feels like this was made from love, like real love and passion. MK11 was good but I don't know something always felt like was missing, even the DLCS tried to fill the void but it just was missing something. This, this is what it's missing, this is fun, disgustingly awesome violence, passion and reinvention without being disrespectful.
I love how they’ve listened to the community about sought after characters. They always seem to drop the right characters at just the right times. Shoutout to the MK team.

Ashrah earned her spot solely for her unique backstory of her being a demon that is trying to purify her soul by killing those who are causing evil and I really like the demon becoming an angel of death look she has going on now. Now we just need Taven and Daegon to round out the 3D era fighters that deserve to come back and play a role in this new timeline.
he already had personality in mkx, but you're right, seems Reptile will be more of a person, than just degraded last one of his species from now on, and it's good.

After last 2 stories with special forces and kids, too much SF with Cronica, Geras and Shinok's sister which made MK stopped being fighting game lorewise this is exactly what we deserve. It's like F&F would start to be night racing car movie with tunning and cool music again .
Having reptile shift parts of his body back to reptile form for certain moves is genius, and the detail in Havik's moveset is crazy. This is going to be the best mk ever!

She questioned a command given by quan chi one day and her sisters where tasked to kill her. When escaping, she found a sword. A holy one. And after killing many demons with it, her appearance slowly changed. Havik appeared in deception and armageddon. I dunno a lot about him. His face got melted in the deadpool. Hes a clerik of chaos from chaosrealm, the rival to orderrealm.

I love human Reptile’s design. The long rear cloth or sash looks and moves like it could be a tail. Clever! Ashra looks epically elegant, Havik looks insanel. This game is clearly appearing to be a true MK and fighting genre masterpiece!

I like the duality of Reptile/Syzoth; playing as both the human and reptilian/Saurian form provides the best of both renditions.
Ashrah's redesign works, especially since the original timeline (MKD and MKA) stated she was an Oni who used the kris sword to slay demons as an attempt to purge her Oni form. The new render removes her kasa hat, which made people mistake her for a female Raiden in her debut.
Sareena finally displays her demonic form, possibly due to Quan Chi not sustaining her human appearance. If she becomes playable, she may be like Reptile and switch between her human and demonic forms.
Havik's redesign is not as good as his MKD appearance; he looks too human and less decayed. His MKD form had him looking more decayed and reminded me of Evil Ash from the film, Army of Darkness. His original "Deadite" look complemented his hyperextensions, bone breaks, and Human Pencil Sharpener fatality (where he quickly devoured both of his opponent's arms and spat out bloody chunks). Hopefully there is an alternate skin that resembles Havik's MKD appearance.

this is a huge win for Mortal Kombat 3D Era fans. Seeing Ashrah and Havik back makes me feel like i’m 10 years old playing Deception again! Can’t wait to play this game

I like how Reptile can now shapeshift into his human form from the 2d era and the lizard form from the 3d era. Also Ashrah appearing with black eyes is something i would never expect, and Havik even appeared. Finally one Chaosrealm character that we dreamed for.

As a reptile fanboy since his release, I was super scared he was going to be a kameo character but seeing the TLC the team put into his story, fighting style, and design, I am floored with disbelief. Thanks to everyone working on this game. This looks fantastic!

This is my favourite Reptile design now! I love how he can transform specific parts of his body; it reminds me of my other favourite, MK2 reptile, as he had a human body but reptilian head when he took his mask off for the fatality
And that's one of the reasons why MK2 is still a based game.
It's a little detail that I just noticed...
Remember how Johnny and Kenshi were introduced beating the shit out of eachother over Sento ?
Kenshi was still abled by then, but when they go to meet Ashra in this trailer, Kenshi has gone blind, and he's resting his hand over Johnny's shoulder so Johnny can guide him, hinting that after their initial fight, they end up getting along pretty well.
And I think it's sweet. Especially if Johnny was the one offering Kenshi to guide him while he gets used to his new condition.
I love how Havik hits the opponent so hard that his arms disintegrate to the bone. Also, one of his kicks separates the leg at the knee for extended reach and his torso spin is no longer like twisting a paper bag. His organs burst out of him as he completely severs his torso. Having chaos energy stitch him back together is a nice touch. The animation for his arm reforming shows the skeleton just before reforming. The attention to detail is unbelievable. Havik is perfect!!

let's not put our hopes to baraka too soon, since in this timeline that their race is instead "retconned" into a virus infecting those who got it, and most likely that his "race" will have a worse role if so they'll get in bad twist, and they'll definitely make a coup for not resolving their outbreak in time (which will also affect how mileena will turn out to be)

MK11 was good but I don't know something always felt like was missing, even the DLCS tried to fill the void but it just was missing something. Ashrah earned her spot solely for her unique backstory of her being a demon that is trying to purify her soul by killing those who are causing evil and I really like the demon becoming an angel of death look she has going on now. Now we just need Taven and Daegon to round out the 3D era fighters that deserve to come back and play a role in this new timeline.

After last 2 stories with special forces and kids, too much SF with Cronica, Geras and Shinok's sister which made MK stopped being fighting game lorewise this is exactly what we deserve. It's like F&F would start to be night racing car movie with tunning and cool music again .

And after killing many demons with it, her appearance slowly changed. Havik appeared in deception and armageddon. I dunno a lot about him. His face got melted in the deadpool. Hes a clerik of chaos from chaosrealm, the rival to orderrealm.
