Wright is starting to dominate one on one matchups against key players and that is a huge boost for the Bears offense. The Chicago Bears have to feel pretty good about how Darnell Wright is playing.

Remember he missed some games earlier because of a shoulder injury. I'm sure it's still hurt.

So glad we drafted him, it was the right choice for the team and he’s a beast. He’s also getting less penalties lately which is nice
Some may think it goofy to say, but in my eye….trading out of #9 to #10 with Philadelphia was another highly successful Poles chess move especially after drafting Gervon Dexter Sr in 2nd round. I know there was no exact trade of Jalen Carter for Darnell Wright and Big Dexter but Poles managed to get his top rated RT in Darnell Wright and the versatile interior DL in Dexter Sr. To me Dexter is every bit 7/8 of whateverJalen Carter is or close to it. Dexter has shown growth throughout this season and should make all rookie team; if not 1st team all rookie alongside Carter, he’ll be on second or third team all rookie interior lineman. Montez Sweat and Dex met at the QB once or twice IIRC.

Kudos to Poles for having one of the better drafts in Bears history! The right tackle spot should be solid for the next 5 to 7 years!
This is great practice for the Browns. They are a similar team like the Lions but they are mossing their two starting tackles. I expect Wright to anchor against tough pass rushers but i also expect Sweat to have a huge day
I knew Hutcherson was very frustrated. Thanks for showing us why.
It's all simple physics from what I have seen to neutralize Hutchinson by Wright. Wright seemed to always have the lower leverage advantage and, in some cases, had Hutchinson standing up straight.
You guys are unbelievably talented, and should be famous.

As a Vol and Bear fan, I’m so happy we drafted Wright. I will watch his career with great interest
Darnell leaning over and putting his head down is strategic. By doing that it makes it a lot harder for a DE to bull rush you which is exactly what he did to Hutchinson every time he tried the bull rush. He knows he has quick enough feet to cut Hutchinson off if he stonewalls him first. On a side note, Justin finally has some decent pass protection, the defense is playing better, and he has a true #1 WR to throw to and the Bears are winning games. He's not having to try and score 30+ points a game while running for his life.
I played football and been watching football for more than 5 decades.
* I'm a Giants fan, however, I been watching the bears since the early 70's when one of the local Highschool stars ( Greg Latta) was drafted by the Bears at TE.
Your criticism of Darnell Write putting his helmet is Hutchinson's chest is ridiculous.
* By doing so he is slowing down one of the best pass rushers in the entire league.
* You're so caught up on technique, you can see that was part of the reason why he had a great game against Hutch.
* Wright didn't keep his head down, he simply made a impact to help slow Hutch down and clearly it worked.
* Wright's footwork was great as well, which allows him to stay in between the rusher and his qb.
* At one point you falsely said that Darnell drove Hutch 12 yards ,when he simply shielded him from getting to Justin, which every lineman must be able to do.
* The social media has brought out so many so called experts.

Very good pass protection...also give credit to JF for having presence of mind/awareness to be elusive enough( thanks to his great feet/quickness and acceleration to get out and gained big yards using his legs and runner's instincts

Wright was a great draft choice. I also like how well Braxton Jones has done on the other side after a rough start to the season with penalties. He's cleaned that up a lot after returning from an injury and only allowed 1 sack so far this season. I know a lot of people talk about how we need a LT, but I don't think it's an urgent need like others believe...I'm all for upgrading of course, but it's not a major hole on that line.
Look at 5.17 number 55 linebacker from Detroit is getting held, at least 3 holding penalties on that play alone.
He did it in the first meeting too!
all i gotta say this is a "playoff team" and we played very well vs. them so i believe if we can keep the momentum going and the pocket clean. JF1 will be back for the bears with an even better offense which is going to be scary

He buried his head into him so he can always have him in front of him ( turning him ) , even if he spins ( the pass rusher ) , he's had him in front of him and can move when he moves , letting the rusher take himself out of the play even.
He controls that way.
I bet he probably wrestled in H.S. as well as having good coaching before turning pro.
We can well see the challenges for offensive linemen (and QBs) in the NFL, as all of them have to win their battles for a play to be effectively executed. And it's very common for one OL to lose his battle on any one play. For example, I think on the first example shown, while Wright and others are blocking well, the Bear LT got bull-rushed and quickly pushed almost straight back into Fields. And on another play, the center gets beat and Fields had to step up, escape pressure and had that long run. There has been improvement---Wright will be a very good player--but teams should always look to upgrade the line.
Hutchinson was all over the place making plays. I think this is a bit overstated. That said, Wright is looking good and will be a fixture on the right side for years to come

Seems like I should watch the whole video first but anyway in your 3rd example one big problem is Darnell passes off Aiden to the other Bear lineman has Aiden Swim moves him and goes right by! Had Fields not passed as quickly he would have been eating turf as Aiden was right there just after the ball left Fields hand! I have a funny feeling this is what I’m going to see this whole video but you probably already know that. One game where Aiden is being blocked by one player effectively is only going to cause changes to the Lions lineup and then move Aiden to the other side or middle. Now the Lions have Bruce Irvin who is not a young guy but has experience and also someone other teams will have to watch for when he is playing opposite Aiden on the D line.

First play is a three step drop with a quick out. 2nd play is a 5 step drop and almost got sacked. 3rd play was coverage error by the DB. This analysis is sus...
4th example is just Fields throwing the ball quickly. Nothing anything the Darnell did that prevented anything Lions tried to do. I already see this in the first 4 examples so I’ll call this what it is a fan of a team at 5-8 trying to hype up his team playing a good game against a 9-4 team leading the division. The Bears are still in a hurting situation right now, but if Carolina keeps playing as poor as they have the Bears are going to have to make a huge decision come draft time do they take Caleb Williams or Marvin Harrison Jr? Going to be interesting.

Yeah only problem is on your second example 23 for Bears has his right hand full of Anzeloni’s 34 Jersey effectively holding and somehow getting away with it as Anzeloni would have sacked Fields.
Your examination works when you show just Darnell against Aiden but be aware the other players on the o-line for Bears have to block the Lions D and do it without committing penalties. I have too many missed calls this season by officials and if the NFL is going to fine players for hits they should fine officiating for missed calls or wrong calls!
describing that play darnell passed off aiden to nate davis and aiden hutchinson absolutely worked him. the line still has little kinks. but i agree they’re getting better.

He slowed up Hutchinson for a second. The quick outlet pass it what won it.
He did hold him on the second play , Darnell grabbed Hutchinsons shoulder pad. From BEHIND Thats holding! Thank you refs for the no call Again Hutchinson did not fully Rush the quarterback the other play you showed. Hutch stopped his rush and went hands up to cut of the dump to the runningback. Again the line backer for Detroit did not do his job to fill the hole. Darnaell did his job but it was blown run coverage by the linebacker Anzaloni. However hell of a good job by Darnell the last play you showed. That was good blocking.
Please fill out this o line to dominate for years to come via the draft...

Guys The pre-snap analysis is fine but please no more than 10 reps of the same play.
Two lions defensive guys literally end up on the opposite side of the field and 3 lions defensive lineman are attacking two bears offensive lineman.
Number 79 literally moved into Aiden's lane of responsibility, instead of attacking instead giving Aiden the outside with room to move the idiot number 79 moved to the left right into the area with Aiden and helping to clog him up.
He REALLY needs to quit dipping his head almost everytime he punches. The is the next step of his development I think. Other than that he is looking pretty promising
