  • One of the most overlooked parts of the Battle of Normandy is arguably the actions that took place around the 5 hills surrounding La Haye du Puits. As the Allies were moving off of the Cotentin Peninsula and fighting their way east, the task of taking these hills was given to the 79th, 82nd & 90th Divisions. In this episode, we're joined by Paul Woodadge of ‪@WW2TV‬ to take a look at some of the fighting that took place here in the summer of 1944.
