Here's a bike trip on the Cherry Creek trail in Denver. The whole thing one way is 40 miles from Franktown south of Denver to downtown where Cherry Creek and Platte river come together. I left from Parker part of the way down so it was about 25 miles downtown and took about 3 hours (4 stopping to take photos and stuff).
The week after I did this bike trip I posted an event on Facebook to see if anyone wanted to join and about a dozen people joined from downtown to Cherry creek park which has a nice reservoir where you can swim and bbq and relax. Really nice day and a great bike path in general. This video is mostly go pro footage of the ride and some drone and camera footage.
I recently left China so I'm not doing tours there. I'm in Colorado looking to restart my tours here. You can contact me (Jeremy) at jenkinjrj@gmail.com or visit amazingadventuresworld.com for more information. About my China trips you can add me on wechat at wildwestchina. Cheers.

I don't have a bike but I love to hike. I am a 67 year young lady retired with lots of time and energy. I've cometed the Great Western Trail from Eaton to Severance. Since I don't have any one to pick me up, I hike twice as far. I've also completed the north half of South Platte trail and all the trails in Westminster. Thank you for showing this trail. I can't wait!

Nice, have a great trip. The Santa Fe bike and green land open spaces on the way to Colorado springs is nice too.

Thanks. There's tons of nice areas to go. Ironically, I'm biking in a couple hours down the Platte to Chatfield State park for the night and then coming back. Later I'll make a video of other cool areas around Denver.

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed. I'll make a few more videos in next couple months about other bike routes like Colorado trail etc. Last weekend I did the Greenland open spaces to the Santa Fe trail which is in between Denver and Colorado Springs. I went all the way on the dirt path and later paved to Garden of the Gods. That's the best route I've found so far. I think I'll post that video next week. Cheers.

That's such a great ride until you get near the Platte river in downtown, then it stinks, literally like human feces due to our homeless problem and by all means do not go into the river! Denver has so many great trail systems to get you all over from here to Boulder, to Golden, to Thornton and everywhere in between, just watch yourself around downtown and for the ladies, don't ride alone at night.

Yes, that's sad but true. Its also really bad when you head east on the Platte along the RiNo area. I was there last evening and tons of homeless over there so I'd be careful in that area too.

@Ramblingroads haven't tried that way in years. The last time was over a decade ago at night and the homeless was a bit of an issue for a stretch. Would like to check it out again, but not to play dodge person. Taking that stretch out East to Golden is a nice ride, especially when you get close to Coors. The downhill back is a blast!

@@seano218 I hear ya. Not really worth riding through the homeless land. I haven't done that stretch to Golden yet. That climb would be a bit of a bitch but I'm sure worth it coming back. I'll have to do it sometime.

@Ramblingroads do it at night though is my recommendation. Going over the bridge really gets you the most. Not gonna lie, I have walked it a couple of times! Lol!
