- A Morning in the Australian Bush
A new day begins in the Australian Bush. The melodious song of Magpies and the chuckling of Kookaburras may be heard among a beautiful tapestry of morning birdsong.
This recording brings to life the atmosphere of our unique bushland.
This reminds me of all those mornings waking up as a kid in the 70s. Mixed feelings of tranquility, joy and a deep longing for 'home'.
Beautiful sounds of home.
You don't realise how much you miss it until you're gone.
Thankyou so much for putting this up. It's gotten me through this homesickness :)
My back door sounds like this most mornings - love it!
2021 now and this are the best souns in youtube.
This will drive any ex-pats mad with nostalgia.
neddy laddy as an Australian in the UK I really miss these sounds
I love waking up to these sounds every morning
hearing magpies after so long can almost bring me to tears, lol
I'm about to go on student exchange overseas in a month's time and I'm saving this video in advance for this exact purpose :`)
Das klingt wahnsinnig nach Australien! Wunderschön! Wünschte, wäre dort...
After travelling one year with a camper through Australia, I miss the sound of nature of the different parts of Australia.
Simply exhilarating. I can feel the bush land through my nose and ears.
This is perfect. I never have to miss the Australian sounds again. Thank You!
I just took a trip home and managed to get into the Blue Mountains area of NSW. I was determined to be able to just sit and listen to the sounds of Australia and to take in the beauty and the perfume of the trees. Bliss
****sacred&special****thanku! Cherish All that is so beautiful!!! Abundance Of Blessings beautiful to You! xox
✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
I love birds
Oh, this is beautiful.
I haven't heard the wonderful melodies of the Australian morning for so many years.
I have missed these sounds more than I realised.
I even started to chuckle when I heard the magpies.
Ok. I am sold. I'm off to buy this album and have it set as my new morning alarm.
Thank you for putting together such a wonderful collection of sounds, and in such high quality.
I can't wait to start my collection.
This is the only thing I miss about Australia.
I wanna go camping again just for these sounds
Know these sounds so well. Love the bush! :)
Very pretty butcher bird call
so amazing
I listen to your recordings with Andrew Skeoch on a daily basis (Spotify). I love them all. 💟
I do miss the 5am aussie alarm clock .
I'm going to play this for my future bearded dragon babies!
Aah, so lovely.
this is amazing 👌
Definitely miss that sound
And they swoop the most in Victoria
Only spent 2 years in the NT, but I miss this so much. I know immigration is doing what it's meant for but man, I found home on this side of the planet because of this kind of stuff. The birds, insects... So much life around you all the time.
Going for mudcrabs in the mangrove, coming back from work covered in mud only to have a quick shower before going fishing... Having to deal with ants, termites, cockroaches, green frogs... We in Europe are so far away from nature.
I was hoping this was a longer recording. I bought the CD a few weeks ago, and, sadly track 8,and,9 were faulty,so I didn't get to hear the Turquoise parrot,or,the Pied Butcher Bird. Still,a lovely recording.
Hi Allison. Sorry to hear about the CD glitch. Flick us an email, we'll forward you the corrupted tracks. Can't have you missing the pied butcherbirds :) cooee@listeningearth.com
Aaaaah memories
Beautiful recordings, want to send to my wife's Mum who is blind. mp3 is best format?

Hi.
Flac is the best format (it is a 'lossless' file format), but it won't be playable by every program.
MP3s are the most compatible, but you will lose a bit of quality in the conversion (though most people can't hear the difference).
I tend to buy the Flac version (to play on the computer, a high end sound system, with good speakers or headphones) and then create a compressed version (ie: mp3 or aac) to put on my iPhone and other portable devices.
Hope this helps. :)
Hi I live in Augathella ..there is a bird here that makes a caw caw caw sound then seems like its laughing at the end. Unfortunately no pic. It has a black wing with light grey chest..Wing feathers go to a point at the end..They fly in groups ..Their call is very loud
I steal this song

Look out for yowies 🙉🙈🙊🇭🇲
@ 1:21 What is the creature making the loud, almost cat-like, meows?! I've always wondered that from every aussie film!
It’s a crow!!
@@emilyc7125 thanks! The question had been bugging me for so long that I had finally found out it is an aussie raven. Lol.
Thanks again
What is the bird that makes kind of a “maw” sound at 1:25?
