Yessss! What you said ha ! I would love to know more about him? Josie should have a little vlog with him as a guest talking more about the history and his thoughts on it all!?
Josie, your dedication and impeccable taste is just breathtaking!🩷 Thank you for letting us in at your big day, it was spectacular!🫶🏻 Congratulations to you both!🤍
So much love for your wedding ❤ what a spectacular weekend of celebration. Your dress is gorgeous 💕 I also appreciated the thanks Charlie and you gave to your gardeners, house keeper and original owner of your home, that was beautiful and clearly displays the people you are. Lots of love from Australia 🥰🇦🇺
Everyone is so in love with you now more than ever because of the amazing poise, class, grace, unabashed femininity and joy you exude is just so soul fulfilling for all of us who get to witness here on Y.T. and most likely those who know you personally. Your viewership is bound to soar to the moon so get ready, Josie!! ❤❤❤
Thank you, Mrs. Irons for a lovely day frolicking in the garden, making it beautiful! I’m so glad to see you wearing gloves! It is delightful to see you so happy! Yes, you look like you are in heaven! Many blessings to both of you!💎🦋
Josie I did ask under a previous wedding vlog if you could show your dress in more detail, so thank you for doing that. The quality is quite clear to see. Just watched Freddy's vlog - just to say obviously you were Queen of the dance floor but also how funny were Scarlett & Freddy in that vlog & two other people who require a mention - JJ & Charlie's dad - how grt were they! People of all generations on the dance floor enjoying themselves is proof of a grt party. Again congrats to you & Charlie
An old friend of mine had her dress put in a glass display case. I had mine dry cleaned and stored in a lovely box xx your dress is one of the most beautiful wedding dresses that I have ever seen Josie xx❤
I like the sound of a display case. If it's stored in a box (even temporarily), make sure any tissue paper used between the layers is acid-free, just to be on the safe side. ❤
Keep your wedding dress preserved and intact. In 20 years, you host a wonderful evening with all your girlfriends all wearing your wedding dresses! Everyone brings a pic of themselves in the dress on their actual wedding day. So fun! Not everyone still fits in theirs, but that’s part of the fun, undone buttons or half done zippers are just fine around all your best girls and a after a few drinks! 😂
When I got married many, many years ago a very special aunt of mine purchased my wedding dress for me as a wedding gift. A few years after my wedding, a cousin of mine was getting married and I donated it to her. She then donated to another. My preference was for it to be used in the future and not stored away and I am happy with that decision. It really doesn't matter what you choose to do as long as it's your decision. I loved watching your wedding and wish you and Charlie all the best for the coming years.❤
NNOOOO!! Wedding dresses should be boxed up, and passed down, a daughter, granddaughter, niece or great niece may not wear it in your lifetime, but a future family member, may see the wedding photos, and say that’s it! That’s my dress.
Dear Josie , Ahh, more videos of the fairy wedding and your beautiful life ! My favourite UA-cam couple ! Thank you for being such an inspiration to all of us I’m obsessed and I have been watching all your old ones ! ❤🇨🇦
This pink you’re wearing and the halter!!! Love it on you…glowing! And I must say I just love how your vlogs have evolved….they truly mellow me out and put me in a countryside happy place 💕
The cut and color of the pink dress is perfection on you. ❤ your wedding dress is the dream; hoping you find a way to admire it often and relive all those wonderful wedding moments ❤
I adore that you went with a polka dot dress. My wedding dress was handmade by a Welsh wedding dress designer and the outer layer of mine was actually covered in tiny polka dots too and it is still one of my best decisions I made.
Josie, your dress was absolute perfection. I’ve never seen a wedding gown more suited to the bride as yours was. I’m so thrilled that your wedding weekend was everything you and Charlie wanted and more. Also, as a dog behaviorist I really appreciated that you put Dexter and Dickens needs first and didn’t have them in the wedding. Having the photos with them is precious but quite enough for them to handle comfortably. Some dogs are happy to be in such a stimulating environment but most find it overwhelming. You set a terrific example and I thank you.
Josie and Charlie deserve more subscribers, please come on people, that couple is wonderful, and so nice you will love their videos 😉 Sending much love to you both ♥♥The pink dress is gorgeousl, That's color suits you beautilluly !
I’ve only just come across you and what better way than to see your wedding prep and the beautiful wedding you had. What a beautiful, classy young lady you are, can tell your a very kind, caring person to. I’m loving the garden stuff. I’m disabled and work hard in my little garden but have to sit down and do a bit at a time, but it’s good therapy for me. I switch off in the garden. First year of growing some veg and I’m loving it. Definitely getting tips and ideas from you. I’m going through all your vids one at a time as you’re so calming to watch and want to see you at the beginning of your house journey. As for your stunning, unique wedding dress, if it was me I would have it on display in a glass cabinet. It’s too pretty to put away in a box, well just yet anyway. Thank you for sharing so much of your wedding weekend, I absolutely loved every minute of it. Congratulations xx 👰🤵♂🌳🌿🪴🌾🌷🌹🥀🪷🌼🌺💐
Your wedding was perfect because it was perfectly you and Charlie. How wonderful it was the perfect day for you both. Yourwedding gown was gorgeous not only for the artristy, because of the love of your flowers from your garden.
Josie, your wedding was absolutely stunning! You and Charlie are so thoughtful as well as having impeccable taste in everything you do! I loved that you included the previous owner, your garden helpers and your housekeepers. Everything was so beautiful and your attention to detail is amazing. I especially Love that you designed your own wedding dress. With your background in fashion design, it feels like the natural thing for you to do. Your dress is truly a work of art! If I had designed that I would want to be able to look at it a lot, just like a new beloved piece of art. I could not bear to put it in a trunk and store it in the dark. I think there are ways to have it preserved so you can keep it clean and still see it. You are a true artist, and the beautiful life you and Charlie are building is in itself a work of art as well. What I love most about you and Charlie is how well both of you know yourselves and stay true to your desires, values, and vision. Watching how masterful both of you are as Conscious Creators is a gift you generously share with your viewers. Congratulations on your new journey together!
The Best way to store your beautiful dress is in a large vacuum bag to keep it from any bugs and to stop yellowing the plus to this is it will reduce size but I don't know if you could bring youself to do this x
Your dress will look absolutely stunning displayed so so Beautiful to just pack away ❤ The embroidery is just Breathtaking the details of every flower & doggies 💕 very talented creative lady . That pink dress Josie you look Beautiful in it that colour suits you so well & Yellow Again thank you so much for sharing your Beautiful wedding with us all ,such a joy to watch 🥰 Have a Lovely weekend 🥰
You & Charlie’s mom are physically the same types, & Charlie & You are so lucky to have met in the Maldives 11 years ago! I absolutely loved your wedding & appreciated all the video footage from Freddy too!
A stunning dress for a stunning bride, I am 62 and been in the military for 25 years but I get teary eyes every time I watch your wedding videos...I must be getting really old and mushy :))) Big hug to you, Charlie and Lala from Transilvania!
The most gorgeous, breathtaking dress Josie & it portrayed you so perfectly 🥰 I still have my beautiful Wedding Dress, veil & headress & I got it out last year for our 40th Anniversary. It still looks as good today as it did then. I treasure it as I’m sure you will yours too 💕 Lovely vlog, thank you 🐾🐾❤️
Hi Josie beautiful vlog, your Wedding dress is amazing all the work that went into it made it spectacular. My daughter's had their dresses preserved professionally. Josie' your garden is magnificent no wonder you love it so much. It's wonderful to have those wheat fields to wander about in your little doggies love it as well. It's very cold and wet here so watching you and Charlie makes me feel happy. Thanks so much ❤❤💙💙
Congratulations on your wedding! I’ve loved watching all the celebrations. You both looked amazing a very elegant wedding. Wedding dress storage - ask or recommendations of professional dry cleaners, or maybe ask your dress maker. My dress was a embroidered structured sleeveless top with a full skirt both made from raw silk. I have worn the top again to a ball. When it was dry cleaned, the cleaners folded it with acid proof tissue paper and presented in a white storage box. Maybe a “ stackers” look box for your dress. ❤
The white flowers in the greenhouse, which you described as a bit sticky are Petunias. Also, David Austin recommend that you use secateurs to dead head roses rather than snapping off the spent rose heads.
My husband made me a life size wood & glass shadow box w/ a light option. My dress is on display 24/7 in our room. Guests love it when they see it ❤ and we are reminded daily of our beautiful day! My bouquet and veil are also in it. We talked about having our vows framed & hung in it, but 17 years later still haven’t done that 🤦🏼♀️ could also put special memories in it. Some ideas are: picture, shoes, invites, menu, monogrammed handkerchief…the list is endless, keeping it classy & tastefully done! We know you do everything with class! 😘 Your dress and wedding was stunning!! Thank you for sharing your celebrations with us!!
Lovely garden. Pink dress is fabulous. Your wedding dress is a feast for the eyes. I love the floral touch. Keep the dress and maybe a daughter will enjoy it some day.
Josie, You have been an absolute inspiration to me. I first found you many years ago when most of your videos were beauty and fashion ”try-ons”. Love your style and grace. Now, I have rediscovered you and your breathtaking garden and home! I want so much to start gardening; I love everything about it...with one exception. Snakes! I live outside Atlanta, Georgia USA and in the south we can expect to see a few snakes each year. I was wondering if you have the same dreaded problem and if so, what do you do about it? Blessings! Reagan
My suggestion is my favorite, which is what I chose to do with mine. After professional cleaning, I stored it in my cedar chest, and every year on our wedding anniversary I put it on, with my veil and my bouquet. On the 21st and 22nd anniversaries, sadly it zipped up only half way. On the 23rd and on out until 31st, I zipped it up. We made it to the 32nd, yet sadly on that anniversary I was moved out of my beautiful home. Just like Princess Dianna, “ there were three people in our marriage”. I always share my tip of zipping up your beautiful dress on each wedding anniversary. Best of happiness to you and Charlie.
O, Josie everything about your wedding day was exquisite, your dress was to die for, you deserve everything , and your beautiful garden, WOW, be happy ever after with your handsome Charlie.😘
Perfect everything❣️ As far as what to do regarding your Wedding Dress. Since you and Charlie love antiques…what if you displayed your dress on an antique dress form…in the pink room? I can see it my head already…as the sun would cast a lovely glow upon it!🙂 Every time you stepped into this room all those memories would come flooding back into your mind. Thank you for sharing this beautiful experience with all of us!
Your dress is spectacular!! My wedding dress was also in polkadot pattern & I liked how preppy-fancy it looked, and I just gasped when I saw your dress has the same pattern, I felt like you would’ve approved my dress and it made me delusionally happy 😂🤍
I have hung my wedding dress up in my front hall. I love my dress and it has been a feature in my house every day since my wedding 5 years ago!! I am not for hiding it away. I think you should find a space in your dressing room to feature it and enjoy it every day ❤
You content and this Vlog in particular is just dreamy.. Especially your walk across the fields. I kept my dress in beautiful acid free tissue paper in the attic in a box specially designed. As your dress is so personal, I am sure you will want to take it out again in a few years and relive your amazing day. WRT Thermomix cheese sauce - I always do mine in the Thermomix and follow the mornay sauce recipe. Works every time and ready in 12 mins!
Hi Josie, I would love to try your mac and cheese Thermomix recipe. Could you please post it? Thank you and LOVED your wedding content. Congratulations! 🍾
Dear Josie, with regards to your glorious wedding dress, could you find a carpenter to build you a full length display cabinet with 4 glass sides & castor wheels, then have it hermetically sealed with your dress inside so it can always be on display from every angle? I'm thinking how gorgeous it would look in maybe your entrance hall, rather like a stunning museum piece on display in a gallery, alongside your bouquet when it is transformed into a piece of artwork & one of your beautiful wild flower arrangements on the table. Maybe I'm being daft, but it would be such a shame to lock it away in a trunk when it's completely unique & has brought you so much joy. I'm still mesmerised by the three days of your wedding & it never fails to give me joy. Thank you & Charlie for sharing everything with us. ❤❤❤
Hi Josie it’s a work of art a truly breathtaking design/dress and all the love and care and planning it should be in a beautiful glass cupboard on show! Your home could take it would be so sad to shut away. 💖xx
I hope you find a good option for your dress. Also, the wheat fields immediately made me think of Gladiator and then you said about playing Now We Are Free!! ... that scene makes me sob so much!
You look like a beautiful ballerina 🩰 in your gorgeous pink dress Josie. You’re absolutely glimmering. 💖🌱🪴🌸 A bespoke shadow box display case for your gorgeous wedding dress and the home you live in would be stunning. 🤍👰🏼♀️🤵🏼 Also, the box for all of your weeding keepsakes can go in the display case too.
If you have the wall space somewhere, you can have your gown and even Charlie's suit preserved in full length shadow boxes and have them mounted on the wall. I am saving mine for when I move in the hopes that I can do that.
The wedding vlogs have been so beautiful to watch. Thank you for sharing x ps radish seed pods are edible. You can pickle them or throw them in a stir fry for a peppery crunch xx
The pink forever new dress you had one is beautiful on you, what size did you get as it’s a perfect fit, and I would like to get myself one . I adore your wedding dress aswell, I would take advise from the dry cleaners as how to store it and stop it from discolouring over time, but as it’s such a work of art I would put it in a free standing glass cabinet so it’s always on show, maybe at the top of one of your stair cases ,maybe the one if there’s room on the one where you came down the stairs where your bridesmaid were waiting for you 🌸🌸
Oh how exquisite your wedding dress details were---- thanks for the up close 'tour' of it. *Magical!* Also, I thought I going to see my favorite mac & cheese until the autumn--- now I'm craving it! How sweet to have seen all the love from the wedding cards in your entertainment room whilst the movie was running. Congratulations once more. Such a happy time for you both. :)
Ideas for dress storage - Hello Josie! What a beautiful wedding you had (so glad the weather was good) and what a dress! Here are a some ideas on how you could store - yet still enjoy - this dress, which is a piece of art and represents so much for you, and deserves a to be a bit extra in its semi retirement! A. You could have the dress framed, like a large shadow box and you could even have a light installed within the frame to illuminate it, then hang it on a wall, if you have that space available… but if you have the floor space… B. You could display this on a dress form within a glass case, like they do in exhibits, again you could opt to have the top with lighting, and in this way it could be seen from all angles and in full volume. A mannequin kinda creeps me out 😂 so I would opt for more of a traditional sewing form; you could even opt to have a form with arms, or just half arms to be able to display the sleeves as well - you could probably find an antique one, or have one made to look old. And if you don’t have the floor space for that, but have a spare closet… C. Turn a closet into a built in display cabinet for the dress, much like option B, but you would see it from just one viewing angle… you could opt to have a glass door for it, or put a glass front within the closet and use the closet door to keep it sight unseen until you want to show it (this would help keep it safe from sun light) you might have to actually make a box, whether out of glass or plexi/poly carbon, to encase the dress within the closet to keep it safe from humidity and insects etc. And again, have it lit. If you were to go with any of these options, it would be best to speak with a textile historian on the best ways/materials to go about these things to keep the dress safe from the elements (like special glass/lighting). Looking forward to see what you decide to do with it! ❤
I loved the pink dress. Living in FLORIDA, that is the perfect dress for the very hot days we are having here. Would love to see you in our beloved Lilly Pulitzer dresses I live in for summer. The Sun glasses👌. But what I really love is how close you are to your Momma❤❤❤
Josie I think someone else has said store it, and then you can use it for making babies christening gowns. I cut mine up and we used the majority of my dress for my sisters dress, as the lace she had chosen looked awful, so my dress material saved the day. And 3 yrs later we used the rest of for my daughters christening, which my daughter now has in storage for her daughter. Your dress was beautiful Josie, so you, you looked beautiful Josie, I cried when I saw your wedding video. 🥂💕
Impeccable as always! My sister (sadly, she died aged 46 in 1994) made my wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses. She was my Maid of Honour. I’ve still got my dress. I would keep yours forever. It’s just so beautiful. The second field you walked through looks like barley to me. The fronds on the top probably feel a little sticky - if they do, it’s definitely barley. The first field is wheat. Xxx
As this was a Cotswold royal wedding, I would recommend something similar to the way the dresses are preserved by the British royal family. A plexi-glass type box built (more along the size of the dress versus storage space for viewing), approx. 4" deep x the length of the gown plus 4" on each end and the width of the bustier portion. It would be encapsulated, with air pockets for preservation (I might get advice from professionals here). You could display it at will and keep it in the upstairs bedroom standing vertically or even horizontally along a wall space. You would certainly have to design something to keep it in place inside the box, but it would be available for viewing at will and preserved simultaneously.
The lovely previous owner, must have been impressed at what you have both done to the house and garden! Nice touch inviting him to the Wedding!
Charlie has a huge alcohol problem. Such a looser
Yessss! What you said ha ! I would love to know more about him? Josie should have a little vlog with him as a guest talking more about the history and his thoughts on it all!?
Josie, your dedication and impeccable taste is just breathtaking!🩷 Thank you for letting us in at your big day, it was spectacular!🫶🏻 Congratulations to you both!🤍
I love that not for a moment do you ever take for granted that spectacular location of yours. Your gratitude and appreciation of it all just shines.
Josie, the pink dress was beautiful on you, this color suits you a lot! ❤
So much love for your wedding ❤ what a spectacular weekend of celebration. Your dress is gorgeous 💕 I also appreciated the thanks Charlie and you gave to your gardeners, house keeper and original owner of your home, that was beautiful and clearly displays the people you are. ADORED SEEING YOUR WEDDING DRESS CLOSE UP. I WOULD BE TEMPTED TO KEEP YOUR DRESS INTACT ......Just because it is so unique and heavenly.
Thank you, Mrs. Irons for a lovely day frolicking in the garden, making it beautiful! I’m so glad to see you wearing gloves! It is delightful to see you so happy! Yes, you look like you are in heaven! Many blessings to both of you!💎🦋
Josie! You can get wedding dresses beautifully framed! Your dress absolutely deserves a spot on the wall!
Ooh I love that idea 🥰
This is what I was hoping Josie will do is put it in a shadow box frame that’s specifically made to go with their setting of the home.
Yes that would be cool!
An old friend of mine had her dress put in a glass display case. I had mine dry cleaned and stored in a lovely box xx your dress is one of the most beautiful wedding dresses that I have ever seen Josie xx❤
The glass display case sounds magical. Just make sure the dress is not exposed to sunlight.
I’m obsessed and I have been watching all your old ones ! ❤🇨🇦
Hi Josie, very nice of Petra and George to invite you, Charlie and your mom over for a dinner dining out on their patio. It looked very nice.
Another lovely video on your garden. The Cotswold is a magical place to live. More wedding I can not get enough❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I had my wedding dress and veil preserved and over 20 years later it looks as beautiful as the day it was done.
I love your gardening content Josie, it’s so inspirational!

Thank you for showing us the details of the dress! Lovely! I have enjoyed watching all the wedding vlogs! Everyone was happy and enjoying themselves!
Oh my goodness!! That was just so lovely!!! Your sweet mother had me in tears right from the beginning!! So beautiful!!!

Perfect everything❣️
As far as what to do regarding your Wedding Dress.
Loved the wheat fields. So beautiful. Your wedding dress is the most beautiful dress I've seen. Thanks again for another lovely time❤
I have hung my wedding dress up in my front hall. I love my dress and it has been a feature in my house every day since my wedding 5 years ago!! I am not for hiding it away. I think you should find a space in your dressing room to feature it and enjoy it every day ❤
The dress is truly something a Disney Princess would wear!
Josie, pink is your colour!!! It brings your skin to life!
U can get your dress beautifully framed. It’s actually quite special 💖
Loving all of the wedding content, get your beautiful wedding gown mounted in a box frame and display in your dressing room powder room 😍 👰♀
Hi Josie, I would love to try your mac and cheese Thermomix recipe. Could you please post it? Thank you and LOVED your wedding content. Congratulations! 🍾
I love my evernew dresses, pantsuits and playsuits too 🥰
Hi Josie! Your garden is looking glorious with all those blooms. Love the pink dress! 💕
Josie - I would love to hear more about your wedding ring and how you chose it. It really looks beautiful with your engagement ring. 😊
Loved the vlog - stringing the mange tout makes them even better 😊
Watching this while snacking on peas is just perfect.
Hi Josie it’s a work of art a truly breathtaking design/dress and all the love and care and planning it should be in a beautiful glass cupboard on show! Your home could take it would be so sad to shut away. 💖xx
Looks like the lawn has recovered from the wedding …and green ours is getting very yellow now ..we have a hose pipe ban in Devon..
Dress is so flattering on you.
You look darling in the pink dress. It is beautiful.
What a lovely vlog. The evening walk was almost meditative to watch 🥰😇
You are truly lovely do enjoy watching, your love for gardening, your wedding fabulous watching from USVI, St.Croix
Croix
I hope you find a good option for your dress. Also, the wheat fields immediately made me think of Gladiator and then you said about playing Now We Are Free!! ... that scene makes me sob so much!
You look like a beautiful ballerina 🩰 in your gorgeous pink dress Josie. You’re absolutely glimmering. 💖🌱🪴🌸
A bespoke shadow box display case for your gorgeous wedding dress and the home you live in would be stunning. 🤍👰🏼♀️🤵🏼
Also, the box for all of your weeding keepsakes can go in the display case too.
If you have the wall space somewhere, you can have your gown and even Charlie's suit preserved in full length shadow boxes and have them mounted on the wall. I am saving mine for when I move in the hopes that I can do that.
You in the pink dress with your hair back. YOU’VE NEVER LOOKED MORE BEAUITFUL. wowowow. It looks so chic and not little girly at all. 🩷💗💞💖💕
I am moved to tears by the beautiful area you live in. It takes my breath away.
The wedding vlogs have been so beautiful to watch. Thank you for sharing x ps radish seed pods are edible. You can pickle them or throw them in a stir fry for a peppery crunch xx
Storybook perfect as always.❤
Omg I watched that film yesterday. Congratulations by the way.
Josie,
Perhaps you will find a special glass cabinet at an antique store to showcase your gorgeous wedding dress!
Josie I lived that you mentioned going to church, please share more of your faith & what you believe ❤
The pink forever new dress you had one is beautiful on you, what size did you get as it’s a perfect fit, and I would like to get myself one . I adore your wedding dress aswell, I would take advise from the dry cleaners as how to store it and stop it from discolouring over time, but as it’s such a work of art I would put it in a free standing glass cabinet so it’s always on show, maybe at the top of one of your stair cases ,maybe the one if there’s room on the one where you came down the stairs where your bridesmaid were waiting for you 🌸🌸
Josie your music choice for this vlog was perfect
Oh how exquisite your wedding dress details were---- thanks for the up close 'tour' of it. *Magical!* Also, I thought I going to see my favorite mac & cheese until the autumn--- now I'm craving it! How sweet to have seen all the love from the wedding cards in your entertainment room whilst the movie was running. Congratulations once more. Such a happy time for you both. :)
I hear radish seed pods are delicious! Also radish flowers bring lots of good insects to the garden!
A. You could have the dress framed, like a large shadow box and you could even have a light installed within the frame to illuminate it, then hang it on a wall, if you have that space available… but if you have the floor space…
B. And if you don’t have the floor space for that, but have a spare closet…
Lovely congratulations to you both 🥰🥂
I loved the pink dress. Living in FLORIDA, that is the perfect dress for the very hot days we are having here. Would love to see you in our beloved Lilly Pulitzer dresses I live in for summer. The Sun glasses👌. But what I really love is how close you are to your Momma❤❤❤
In my family we made baptism gown out of grandma’s gown, and mine and hope my daughter will perpetuate that beautiful idea☺️
I loved hearing about your dress. The Swiss dot fabric is lovely. My favourite dress as a little girl in the 1970s was made with that fabric❤!
Can you find an antique armoire with a glass front. The dress can add a romantic decorative element. Out of the sun. Fun!
I have to say, you’re right Heaven, you live in Heaven ❤️ Thank you and Charlie so much for sharing your lives with us.🌹🌺🌸🌼🌷🌻💐
Josie did you know that you can keep the seeds of your lupines and plant them before you first frost date and you will get alot more.
The removable sleeves on the wedding dress are the most Josie thing!
