This might just be the best tuning I've ever heard. I never even considered getting Rikka because I didn't like her Idol-ish cutesy/high formant demos, but this is something different entirely, I'm *really* impressed. Amazing work!
well, the voice actress who recorded the vocals is indeed some sort of idol, her name is Yoshino Aoyama and she sings for the idol band called wake-up girls

It is more realistic but it actually makes it harder to manipulate. Vocaloid gives you a bit more wriggle room to do more ambitious things so both have good and bad things. I still prefer Vocaloid though, tbh.

Around December, Synth V rolled out a new product - AI voices - which are made differently from Standard. AI voices sound remarkably close to the real deal. They were updated last week to version 3, which is scarily realistic.
