61 - Steaming Tasker Showman's "Little Jim" to Witney

An invitation from Mike Lewendon was not one to be turned down, so on the Tuesday after Fairford I got the chance to take Little Jim across from Clanfield to Witney.
What a fantastic expereience. Really enjoyed it.
The rallies we expect to be at this year are -
31st-1st Septemer North Cotswold Steam Rally, Northleach
21st - 22nd Stoke Prior Rally
28th-29th September Kettering Steam Rally
We may not get to all of them, but certainly expect to be at most if not all of the above.

I'm the same. Have always admired her and fortunately Witney is less than an hour away.

Definitely a good size for the road. Our 8nhp Burrell single is a big engine on the road. It’s quick as we converted it to 3 speed. But you’ve got to be on the ball on the smaller roads.

Yeah. Totally agree. That's going to need a steeraman on the ball and tight chains,!
