Looks like a street glide
it does a little bit, i had alot of fun buiding it. i wanted something you didnt see everyday. thanks for stopping to check it out.
Nice bike!
You’re not gonna find any plastic on this bike , the only plastic is on the controls . Hahaha makes sense
Yes, meaning any other part on the bike is def not plastic. If you look at Hondas yamahas etc. They have alot of plastic on them. It would be cool to have metal controls until it gets really cold out lol. Then not so much haha. If I get you to laugh a bit then I did my job.
hey bud did you use bung king fairing mounts ?
No, I used the mounts that came w the fairing.
Can you still fit the passenger pegs on with these bags?
Stock pegs no, you can get passenger pegs that work though. They would have to be a stud w a nut on the back side.
Were you get those saddle bags
off amazon ziggy, the link is in the pinned comment. i dont know if the link is still good though
I got saddel bags but now the brakets I git dint fit were did you get yours
@@ziggyaceves7796 I got my brackets off ebay
@parkersgarage4216 ok will look in to it thank you
@parkersgarage4216 tha k you really help me out I already ordered new brakets
Did the special brackets come with those bags or did you order them separate?
I had to order them separate. You'll also need to relocate the rear turn signals as well.
My turn signals are in my brake light so I’m good on that. Can you post a link to those brackets?

Wanted to know what all u got and the name
Link for the fairing
Hey, that person in the background is laughing at at your bike!!!
Lol my neighbor was laughing at me. Good catch though, if he was laughing at my bike I'd have to sap him up a little bit lol.
Do you have the link for these bags and also would they work on a 2005 sportster 1200 custom?
I do not have a link sorry. I got them off Amazon though and they came w inserts. They'll work on any sportster but you have to get the special brackets. I got the brackets off ebay. You'll also need a rear turn signal relocation kit. I got that off amazon as well. Its a lean back plate kit and you use factory turns. It looks factory and I like it better than stock position.
Love that medallion on the tank. Where did you that?
@@bigmac869 believe it or not its actually a stock medallion. mine is a 2009 so you could possibly order some.
Can u send a link where u got the bahs at?

Can you ride a passenger with these bags?
I'm not exactly sure to be honest. I never got passenger pegs for it again. My woman won't ride on it at all lol. With that said though I'd imagine that you could. You would need a different style rear peg though. You'd need a threaded peg or something similar to a softail passenger peg.
What hard bags and kit did you use?
Amazon hard bags, rear turn relocation, and sportster hard bag bracket kit.

Name of the saddle bags?
TCMT hard saddle bags from amazon. you need a rear turn signal relocation kit along w the special brackets for the sportsters. the bags come w a liner in them as well. im very happy with them so far. they come vivid black so they match my bike perfectly.
www.amazon.com/TCMT-Saddlebags-Saddle-Harley-1994-2013/dp/B010V25FU6/ref=sr_1_25?dchild=1&keywords=harley+hard+bags&qid=1616771733&sr=8-25
Description says for road king. So they did fit your sporty? I have 2014 sportster 1200 superlow almost the same bike as you. Mine had the leather hard bags but i want the bagger hard bags like what you put on. Looks way better.
@@bigmac869 yes those are exactly what i bought. you need the special brackets for the hard bags as well though for them to fit. you cant go w the newer bags because the brackets dont work with the newer style bag mounts. if you had the leather bags were the turn signals moved to the rear fender? if not you will have to get that as well. i bought the most expensive one off amazon thats integrated w the license plate and chrome. i love the look of hard bags on the sportsters. they completely change the look. on a side note if youre running a stock clutch get rid of it and get an energy one performance clutch with extra plates. you wanna get the grenade plate aka spring plate out asap.
My turn signals are on the rear fender. I just swapped out the vans and hines shorty pipes for the bosani 2into1 pipes. And did the tune. Way better performance and love the new sound. Where did you get the new cluth plates? I was thinking of doing that also.
Just a FYI, as to no plastic on that Sportster, you might want to know that the oil bag on a rubber mount Sporty IS plastic... Yep, the frikkin' OIL TANK is made out of plastic. Those are covers on the battery and oil dipstick side. Speaking of the oil dipstick... Yup... PLASTIC. It's a cool bike, and I love mine, but this "no plastic" statement is just flat wrong.
Agreed, I never noticed the tank was plastic. Dipstick you can buy a metal one. I never did though, have you compared it to a shadow or a Yamaha wanna be sportster? Those have tons of plastic parts on them. Comparatively a oil tank and dipstick is nothing imho. I'd be willing to bet though you could buy a metal tank as well. Thanks for the comment I appreciate it. Ride safe out there.
Con 1 dedo ahhhhhh
no, me puse las bolsas y el parabrisas yo mismo.
But why?
Changing weather makes you need multiple clothes. Here it can go from 70 to 35 at night. I need to carry cigs, drinks, and wallet as well. I also pick up alot of cigarettes. The bags can hold 24 cartons. Backpacks are garbage also btw. Those little swing arm bags are a joke also. Every bike is purpose built. Mine was made for long trips.
@@parkersgarage4216 I had a sportster a long time ago, granted it wasn’t set up like this, but I couldn’t imagine taking it on a long haul. Today, 700 miles is a short ride and even this setup looks like it’d kick my ass. Just seems like some work and money to have a bagger that doesn’t ride like a bagger. I dunno how big a boy ya are, maybe it’s right for you. Looks cool as hell, I just imagine my big ass on that and wanting to kill myself after 500 miles. I appreciate what you’ve done tho. Looks damn good. 🤘😖
@@Krystoff04111 it was actually very comfortable. I could ride it for hrs w no aches or pains. The seat made all the difference. I'm not a big guy neither as well. I recently sold it and bought a softail and a fat bob. I'm selling the softail now and keeping the fatbob. We mainly ride city and county. If we did highway I'd get a road glide. Road glide is too much for the city and not as much fun. Sporty and dyna is where it's at for the city. Ride safe and take it easy.
@@Krystoff04111 I almost forgot, our weather here is nuts. It can go from 70 down to 35 at night. In which you need to carry jacket sweatshirt etc.
