Sajun Miller in Beaufort, SC. Warm and finally not raining. Just got our come-along ropes from Steve and have been restarting ground foundation with Molly. Thank you guys for all you're help and guidance!
This video just popped up. Great video. I know this is an older video, but I am left-handed, and all my life i got on my horses on the right side. People look at me funny . What's your take on left-handed people and doing this opposite of most people dealing with the mules.
Hello from South Dakota. Say a just bought a mule that has never been touched, he is a year and a half old. Can you give me some pointers on how fast I should go. I have had him for about 5 days and I can rub his neck and nose. Thanks
I have an 11 yoa Molly mule I purchased in 11/2020. I had some issues initially trying to get her into the trailer, talked to the previous owners and they gave me some tips and then I could get her in. Pretty much the riding season of 2021 was uneventful getting her is this true. Riding season 2022 first few times I could get her in with no issues But now she will not even come out of stall when I have the halter and lead rope on her. In order to get her out of the stall someone needs to be behind her, when getting up to the trailer she totally balks, my husband has to be in the front leading her in and I need to be behind her swinging a rope before she’ll jump in. I have been the one to drive the truck and trailer while she has been in it since I have purchased her. It’s a padded trailer with the Werm flooring. Out of the ordinary has happened while she has been in the trailer, I don’t understand why all of a sudden she will not go in. Can you give me some tips as to re-training her to go in? I Would like to be able to get her in the traile her by myself, not needing anyone else to help me. I do have a buggy whip and a flag on a stick for help. I have not used either of these on her yet.
I like Mules and More Magazine. Wow, did you see any mules in Hawaii? 🌴 From Shenandoah County in Va. Perfect clear and sunny today with a breeze. So glad you mentioned bacon grease for fly bites. I mentioned it in another chat and everyone thought I was nuts. I have used it for years myself. It works great and its free from your favorite restaurant if you bring a container and ask for it. They pour it in the trash almost every morning. 🌄
Hi Steve got two mule on for me and one for grandson. Ones 12 the other is 15 years old 12 year old needs a little more training. 12 year old rode great first day then buck me off on second ride but got back on and rode rest of trail fairly well.
