Scott became the main lead after Sean Altman left the group. Sean is the guy on the far left at start and the lead singer for the song. Scot was actually NOT one of the original four of Rockapella BUT he did join while just as they started the game show "Where in the World is Carmen SanDiego" so is probably the longest running member to date now.
Notice how Barry was the frontman/spokesman here. Years later you most often see Scott playing that role at least in the vids I've seen of public appearances etc
anyone else think it's funny or whatever that scott, the eventual leader of the group, stands out color wise? it's almost foreshadowing i'd say. the g clef the most focused on/prominent visual is the same color as scott's jacket. lol. anyone else catch onto this by any chance or is it just me and my craziness/love of him? :)

Rockapella got its name because it’s supposed to be a rock group that sings a cappella. The term a cappella means “as done at, for, or from a chapel.” Circa the 17th Century AD, chapel music used to be written exclusively for human vocals.
Not necessarily, as they filmed a few episodes of Carmen before he permed his hair (like The Purloined Pole). But it either would be before or right at the beginning. :)
