Because honestly when you find out information like this you will need a minute to breathe. This whole time he had this childhood friend/lover living in his home and had his gf who didnt know be buddy buddy with this woman. And she knew something was up but couldnt put her finger on it. His inability to tell his 'sister/friend' whatever she is, that he wasnt interested, caused this. He knowingly and willingly stood by while she repeatedly undermined Shan Shan. If he loves Shan Shan, why werent her feelings put first. I wouldnt forgive him right away, if at all. She thought the other girl was her friend so to see that and understand that was never the case was also incredibly hurtful. Shan Shan couldnt even protect herself in the situation.
Not only did Feng Teng deceive her but The whole family lied to her. Such a betrayal.

Shan Shan, like the kind person she is, knew nothing and treated the woman like a friend. The betrayal cut deep. I hate when characters say they're protecting you from you misunderstanding things... um not telling her the truth is what caused the misunderstanding and hurt. He buried his head in the sand and did nothing. Gad he cleared this up before this wouldn't have happened. He hoped the woman would move on, but when he realized she hadn't, he should've talked to her then. She would've been hurt, but at least you put it out there

The fact that her so called BF let her be at the mercy of the family friend that he KNEW had romantic feelings for him, knew had set her up multiple times, had made her feel small...and just let that woman LIVE in his home....that is reprehensible! Then to just stand there as she kissed him..and yes, he very well could have dodged that, but didn't. Shan Shan deserved better and he is not trustworthy!
Shan Shan have nothing more to do with Feng Teng. He is totally in the wrong!! He knows how the other woman feels about him but chased after her when she was upset when his girlfriend was in the room. He then stood there and let her kiss him without any protest. He's a rotten egg.

Writers should change this scene. It's too degrading for women. One kiss doesn't matter well it matters to me. I see my boyfriend kissing somebody else or a friend of mine first thing I 'll smack he's face. But here the girlfriend didn't do anything. It's too degrading. Once again change this scene and let the girlfriend have self respect and dignity.

He has no real understanding of how hurt she is, once trust is broken it takes along time for that to be rebuilt again.

She’s naive but also strong in her own ways.

The way he was wiping her tears , i thought she was the gf, turns out she isn’t. He has the potential to become a full time cheater . So leave him . He didn’t even try to move an inch away when she kissed him . He even slightly leaned in.
Similar scene in "You Are My Sunshine" 😮😮😮 but for a different reason. ML and the others kept the FL in the dark. The ML was the ML in that drama also. 😅😅😅 and he had the same lame excuse as to why he did not tell the FL. Both of the FLs were put on the back burner because others were more important than they were. That was a whole lot of arrogance on the MLs parts and the others. It has been over 2 years and I am still mad about it.
I like this drama, but the male lead was way to considerate for his friend than his girl friend. If the friend couldn't eat, he had to check on her and he also allowed her to make a fool of his girlfriend. I didn't care for his actions at all.
