George and Tiffany Vows Renewal Week (August 14 - 20, 2023)

A few snaps we took - and some borrowed from those who joined us and shared some wonderful pics to Facebook. Unfortunately, I was not able to download any of the video that was taken to share, so I had to make my own with this little photo movie.
Just by way of orientation, the days events included:
Monday, August 14: Visit to Caernarfon Castle on a somewhat grey day, then a fantastic dinner at Sopna in Menai Bridge. The food was so food I forgot to take any photos!!!
Tuesday, August 15: Snowdonia Train to the summit of Yr Wyddfa. Some of us were grateful that we were travelling up through the clouds and couldn't see the 1,000 feet drop down beside us!
Wednesday, August 16: Some of us started the day with a Wild Warm Seaweed Barrel Soak before heading off to pick sunflowers and gladiolae with which to decorate the roundhouse. And then, of course, the event itself!!!
Thursday, August 17: The Mona Magical Mystery Tour with the added adventure of a bus-tree faceoff (tree won!)
Friday, August 18: A day to start goodbyes, but we did take a quick trip to South Stack to see the incredible vista across to Ireland where many of our friends were heading.
Saturday, August 19: A family trip to Portmeirion which was particularly special and magical.
Sunday, August 20: Last family goodbyes....until next time
There were so many other things going on in and around, but this gives a wonderful little taste. It was a fabulous full on week that did much to bring peace and hope to our hearts. I hope you enjoy this little movie.
