We couldn't afford Restaurants So my Kids grew up knowing I was cooking their favorite meal For their birthday & of course a CAKE & Their choice of dinner can be all vegetables if they want.(rarely did I have one chose that) Whatever the child wanted, was what we all ate. Of course I would go all out on the cake. One loved trains, so.I made trains for him. Don't buy can icing use 1/2 to 1 stick of butter, some powdered sugar & flavor.

He does seem older then 64, It’s kinda crazy how hard you can age physically and deteriorate mentally when life’s been throwing you through the ringer for so long. A simple cake and birthday song brought this man to tears almost immediately. A quote i love is “men don’t cry because they’re weak, they cry because they’ve been strong for too long” Ifs kinda cheesy but it’s a great comment about mens struggles and how we bottle it up until it’s too late all too often.
