Funny that the Caspian Gull didn't care for the spines which were put there to avoid birds!
And very nice pictures of the Spotted Crake standing and climbing in the bush!

Wow, amazing footage of the Spotted Crake! About my careful searching: it is much easier when you know the bird is there and you had found it first. In general, my stamina doesn't come close to yours! You put in so much more effort, it is impressive👏

Aquatic Warbler is a species that I didn't manage to get on my British list. I remember trying to locate one at Marazion Marsh, near Penzance in Cornwall, but with no success.
Aquatic Warblers are classified as vulnerable by the IUCN with an estimated population of 11,000 to 15,000 pairs.

Aquatic Warbler is going to be extinct within the coming 100 years, if Eastern countries transform their natural wetlands into nothing like it happened in Germany and elsewhere. I have found it twice in my life and even managed to get some shots of the first specimen.

Yeah Aquatic Warblers seem to be even harder to connect with in Britain. Last year there was a widely twitched one I noticed on the socials.
