From the hundreds of extinguishers I did 6 years on this week, only the ones in manufacturing and outdoor environments showed noticeable valve and o-ring degradation. Regardless of where the extinguisher is they both get replaced per code but for stuff in your home teardowns are unnecessary like you said. Great video

I don’t usually buy them retail I just get them from Facebook or occasionally I find them for free
