So far zero issues! I bang into the van and accidently rub against it with objects (since I know this is a durable coating, I have faith in it) and it has yet to scratch. I would only recommend doing this to a vehicle that has seen better days. I bed lined my 2002 Mustang GT and I regretted that since it was in good condition. Doing to the van, however, was a good decision.
Why use a roller instead of spraying it on? A roller isn't smooth. You will get an orange peel look to it. A spray gun is less money than a can of liner paint.
Please don't add any music to a demo or DIY video. We need to hear as well as see, what the work sounds like. This helps a lot. Music hurts the ears with constant noise layer, and is super irritating when trying to concentrate on the demo. It ruins content. That was a very clever way to stick on the name plates, using blue tape, smart! What a spectacular paint job! Truly beautiful. Durabak is a good paint and no spraying needed, yay!!
Very nicely done, a project on a budget. Repaired, painted, and overall enhanced. 😊👍
Gorgeous work.
Fantastic job, seriously!
So relaxing ☺
Excellent work!
Love this video
Awwwwwww ❤❤❤❤ I want to do the same in my Astro
I want to do a Bed liner finish as well But I was thinking about spraying it on. Maybe there’s something to rolling it on.
Chris, did you put some Clear Coat on the Blue before You started the bed liner on the bottom?
Sweet!
Great videos. Did you get 3 coats with one gallon of the durabak or did you need more?
I think I used two gallons. Tbh, I do not remember. Order two gallons. if you do not use the second gallon, send it back and get your money back.
Hey Chris can you help us to find some extra large window guards for the front door windows.
I'm so tired of rain coming in.😩
Talked to Mike Z and these are the ones he has: amzn.to/3OYNIGo

Will the bed liner paint protect better for rust and dirty etc ???
So far it has been very resilient! Don’t have to care much about scratching it too.
@@ImChrisDeDecker nice I will see about doing this to my one day chevy astro or gmc safari...
Formidable como siempre poniendo mucho amor y entusiasmo ala astro me gustan mucho tus videos saludos desde la CDMX
