Great vd executus. do you know if you can use items that are out of your armor lvl like saying that plate viking helmet on a hunter so that way you can get the effect of knocking someone down but not actually wear it? or you have to put it on and be able to wear plate then to use it? also do you know if on a hunter using rapid fire speeds up the death ray cast or any other self abilities effect it? Thanks.
Nice video! Can you tell me more about how Gnomish Death Ray works? Why did you have to invoke recklessness and death wish before channelling it? Also, it looked in the description as though you don't need engineering to use it. Is that true? Can it be bought from an engineer?
You need engineering to use it. And you have to be a Gnomish engineer. You cant be a goblin engineer and use gnomish stuff, and vice versa. The item is BOP, so it cannot be sold or traded. The reason I pop recklessness and deathwish before channeling it, is because gnomish death benefits from those spells, if that makes sense. Recklessness gives you a 90% crit chance on everything, and deathwish reduces you resistances to all schools of magic by 20%. Like I explained in the video, or tried to, the more damage that the death ray does to you, the more damage it will do. Recklessness = 20% increased damage taken + 90% crit chance - Deathwish reduces all resistances by 20% and increases physical damage done by 20% (the ray does magic damage so that portion doesn't matter.)
The most populated zone. Which changes from patch to patch. The most populated zone throughout the lifespan of vanilla is typically STV. STV contains a large gap of levelers, a raid, 2 travel paths (boat and zep) and geographically encourages combat due to the terrain. The water, bridges and unclimbable hills funnel players into other travelers. The STV arena (shown in this video) is also very active during events. The Fishing tournament also stimulates a lot of otherwise pacifist players to be thrust into a pvp environment. Another mention would be shared questing hubs cross faction. Players on both sides are forced to quest in the same areas, a prime example would be nessingwarys which is always a hot bed for pvp.
Justaguyyoutubin Yes, STV is a great pvp hotspot but I'm kinda suggesting spots that are not so well known. During vanilla I remember having a few favourite small scale pvp spots but do not remember where the hell they are these days. You could get into main cities and use the element of surprise often against 1v2 because people did not think that they'd be about to enter combat. But STV, everybody's running around in packs! A refresher video would be freakin awesome.
I think they are awesome for pvp, not very practical for pve, unless you get very lucky. Very fun to play, but I would go into vanilla with the mindset of a healer if you want to play Shadow later in the expansion.
Dude.. you know you _are_ allowed to edit the voiceover, right? Cutting up audio tracks and stitching them back together is such a basic and expected part of being a content creator, videos without these mandatory edits tend to come across as rushed. If you start editing out the bad takes you make when recording your voiceover, it can only affect your content in a positive manner! I will stay subscribed either way.

You need to be able to wear plate to use the item and it's effect. Rapid fire will not speed up death ray.

Executus Gaming. Ahh, I see. Thanks for that.
Any chance that you would be able to do a video on your preferred world pvp spots?
That's not a bad idea, I might do one showing good zones to pvp for certain levels or classes!

add minor run speed enchant to your gnomish rocket boots and theyre perfect
Hey Executus! love your videos. I was wondering if you'd ever go back to the hunter and maybe have some bgs/wpvp clips again? Thanks !
Maybe in the future, for right now I'm not playing on any server, so there is no content to be made.
Executus Gaming fair enough . Rolling LH fresh in June ?
Again, maybe. Most likely not. I'd rather just wait until Classic comes out
What do you think of shadow priest in vanilla?
