WLToys K989 V2 Review

Hi guys,
I needed some little 2S batteries and I have long coveted this classic Hooniclone rally body shell, so I pulled the trigger on this car for $70 Cdn on AliExpress. Everyone knows these cars are pretty good and it lives up to the hype. Very well assembled at the factory, although the toe link screws were stripped (still useable). Diffs are stiff out of the box which is to be expected, but the car works great other than that. With the stiff new drive train, watch the motor temp; i ran a little long the first runa nd it got pretty hot. The V2 car comes with metal pinions (motor and diff pinions) and the only downside is that instead of the motor pinion occasionally loostening, now everyone gets a tough(er) to remove pinion (although the don't love to wrench crowd will probably never (have to) work on it).
