Someone is going to have to make a comparison between this REEN, the Tuthill 911K, the Singer DLS, the Gunther Werks and the new RUF CTR, to know once and for all which is the best.
Not sure I'm getting the idea - why not to make a 4.0L conversion of the original 3.6L 964 engine? With GT3 intake, Kinsler ITBs and new heads, it can easily make 400+hp. That is what Singer, GunterWerks and a bunch of other 964 restomoders are basicly doing. 4.0L engine from Schmirler (RS Tuning) is like 140k EUR, but you can build one for less than 100k.
Variocam is the keyword here. It offers an much higher poweroutput per liter and 500hp at 4.0l. It offers the flexibility of an race engine and OEM powerplant that’s let’s you drive in relative comfort in a traffic jam. Reen Drive puts more flexibility on top of that, but variocam is key for flexibility and power regarding our philosophy. The 4 valve head allows revs up and above 9000rpm, where you will find some thrill🎉

It is my understanding the engine discussed in this vid has 400hp, not 500hp. 4-valve per cylinder AIR COOLLED head is easier said than done. Schmirler have tried that concept 20 years ago with Ansgar Wiese - they have built several prototypes. They have abandoned the idea eventually, due to issues with heat they were not able to solve. Which is why the 4.0L, 4 valves per cylinder and 500hp Singer engine has watercooled heads...
10 to 15 years ago there where plenty of porsches for a good price. I also love the porsches a lot 😮but Im too late to buy one at the moment or I have to buy one that needs work. At the moment I have a 73 vw beetle with 1600 dual carb engine wich also is a lot of fun to drive and is also pretty fast with 780kg and 85 horses. Also got a mk2 golf gti for fun driving. But a porsche .....I wish I had one but I cannot get rid of those other cars. Also would love to have a vw t1/t2 bus too. Got 3 cars at the moment , its just too much to get more cars 😂
SoSo damn good, minus the fake knockoff wheels and seating choices. 😅 A set of simple Speedline Turbos or even Forgeline SL3's with some Recaro Pole Position Classics with Pepita centers some Brides and BBS'
I've got to be honest, I have become a bit sick of hearing about Restomods, especially Porsches. It almost seems like a week doesn't go past that you don't hear about yet another company jumping on the bandwagon, wanting to charge half a million pounds or more for a modified 911. Don't get me wrong, I guess there is a cool factor, but too companies are trying to squeeze in to a very niche market, and the cars that are getting restomodded are starting to get silly. Very nice car and I do like a 964, but please don't go showing us lots of Restomods... Please.
The wheels dont do anything good for the look of this Porsche imo, put some speedline’s from turbo 3.6 on it, and paint the ring around the headlight in indischrot too = perfect.
Can you stop speeding on normal road plz? Its completly illegal in Germany, even near an autobahn and there is pedestrians in bikes on those roads. A lot of people watching your videos gonna do the same as you and thats gonna lead to dramatic incidents. Thank you very much
I lost the interest after i heard that it is unoriginal engine...why destroy the soul in the car...why not keep original engine but tune that engine instead of destroy the whole car with a an water cooled Porsche engine😡😡🤮🤮

The engine at the concept has 3.6 l displacement hence around 400h, buy the restrictions of intake and exhaust (to keep the OEM look of an 964RS)
