Glad you're feeling better, John! I like the cows you have as neighbors! I raised Black Angus when I was a kid. We did have to process them so we were'nt supposed to give them names but we always did! 😊 I spent last week helping my sister down in North Carolina. She lives about 90 minutes away from Asheville. She had some tree limbs come down and a power outage for a day but that was it. Nothing like up in the mountains. We also went through her clothing and boots and donated to the local fire station. They are collecting supplies for the people who lost everything in the hurricane. Please keep all those people in your prayers. Keep on keepin' on!

Thank you, Doris! As a teenager we got our first bucket calf. I named it. We sold it instead of butchering it. I was never allowed to name another meat animal. Glad your sister wasn’t hit harder. That is such an intense situation even still. Praying for everyone recovering, and for Florida.

I like your new neighbor there. Glad you're feeling better in time for Kelly to come home. Your advantage is that those bags last longer for you than for me. I bought a couple of bags when they were on sale, but they are long gone. One crazy thing, my friend Bill from Maine pays $89 for one of those 11 lb bags. Hope you keep feeling better and have a great week!

Thanks, Robbie! You have a few more chickens to give treats to than I do. You go through more of everything chicken-related. $89 for that bag is crazy expensive. I’d be rationing them out to only the best egg layers. Gotta earn your keep, ladies.

@@thewildhuckleberryAR Yikes! That many will burn through a bag of worms in a hurry.

I love Atwood’s. There aren’t any close to me.

If you need an Atwood’s fix, take a trip over/up to Crossett, AR.

I'm glad you're feeling better. Thanks for the update. Looks like things are moving on in a positive way. Yesterday, I added some shelves in the shed with some leftover siding from our solarium repair. It's not exactly level 😂 but it gives us some needed extra space, so it serves the purpose. 🔨🪚🩹

Thanks, Richard! As long as it’s functional and you’re okay with it, it doesn’t matter if the shelves are a bit off. Bonus for using what you have on hand.
