      Definitely get the glycolic acid, and go with a light oil I hope it helps. Unfortunately us dandruff girlies really should be washing our hair once a week to keep that fungus off the scalp. But use a different clarifying shampoo this one made my hair fall after a while💙

    so glad you’re back 💚 how long have you been using the glycolic acid? i have only used it once so i am curious to know when you started seeing a difference!

    • @carynprince
      @carynprince  Рік тому +3

      Glad to be back! I saw the difference immediately when using on my scalp, but you must moisturize afterwards always. Also I really recommend using at night and twice a week on the scalp. (But you have to see what works best for you always, this is just what I do) I’ve been using it for maybe a month on my under arms, I’ve replaced my deodorant with it. I use it on my legs it got rid of a little bit of strawberry legs I on my thighs in like a week. I use it on my face like in my skin care routine. I really love that stuff it’s a staple product now lol. Just be consistent and patient you’ll see results💙

    I have had seborrheic dermatitis since 8th grade and it kinda looks like this. I have to wash weekly , & mine is worse around my hairline , causes discoloration if it flares up.. I can’t even use edge control or gel & I can’t oil my scalp with any products either. Does your scalp ever get tender /sore to the touch? It may be inflamed.. Have you ever seen a dermatologist? I’m sorry if you wrote that anywhere in the video it’s 3 am & im being lazy lol anyway thx for sharing!

    • @carynprince
      @carynprince  Рік тому +2

      Lol yes I’ve had those same symptoms at one point. Please try this it definitely helps. The tea tree shampoo and the glycolic acid is going to be a game changer. I’ve been using all these product on my scalp and my dandruff has totally turned around! Just wait until there’s no open sores in your head before using the glycolic acid. Do a patch test first💙

    • @TB-og3ot
      @TB-og3ot Рік тому +1

      @@carynprince I really appreciate your reply I will def try both bc it’s been so frustrated not being able to slick my edges down esp when I try to wear twists. I never heard of anyone doing the glycolic acid so I’m excited to try it ! I also loved how you used the clarifying shampoo first so the tea tree shampoo could actually get to the scalp bc that’s been my prob too. Let you know how it goes thanks again ❤️❤️

      @carynprince  Рік тому +1

      @@TB-og3ot no problem, these steps definitely worked from me the whole front of my head literally use to peel up off my face and would be red and sometime bleed. I would suggest all the products truly. Any clarifying shampoo can be used as long as it does what it says it’s going to do lol. I def understand where you’re coming from hope it helps💙💙

      @@TB-og3ot you’re welcome look into taking neem supplements too. Research it really well but if you’re trying to get pregnant be careful it’s a natural birth control. Consult with some one you trust. just my advice make sure you don’t have any allergies to this stuff and if you don’t please try…if you try the neem supplement do it sparingly tho depending on the dosage. You don’t need as much as they recommend cut the recommendations in half take that for a week straight and then take it every other day. Remember too always take breaks on taking supplements. I’m not a dr tho boo please please please listen to your body and do what works for you. Hope this helps💙

      Please try this method this is the only thing I’ve found that’s kept my scalp clear and that glycolic acid is a game changer. If I defer from it my scalp gets bad and I’ve had dandruff my whole life so I definitely understand💙

      Hey babes.. sometimes it’s not dandruff. It may look dry but it could be seborrheic dermatitis or malassezia. It’s a fungal infection that can simply be treated my a medicated shampoo or an oral pill. I suffer from the same scalp issue, just wanted to drop in and mention that in case you weren’t aware.
