I find your video interesting but I have a question, what if after the 2 year post study visa, you want to still stay back, can you pick up another masters program?
@@larabukky1545 Yes, you can but it must be a course higher than the course you just finished. For example you just finished a masters you need to progress academically maybe to PhD
Congrats. More win. Please I have a question. Is you degree an undergraduate degree or Msc. If it is a BSC, I like to know how the study, assessment and examination pattern is like,a lot of UK students tend to talk about the Msc studies, no one talks BSC in UK. Thanks
From what I've heard, this would mean that you have to switch to the student visa. Also, the PSW visa can only be issued once, so you may not have a chance to reapply for it after your PhD. Please speak to your university who can advise you best.
Hello Farida, You mentioned contacting your school to send your name to home office, is that a necessity, because I have applied for over a month and I have not gotten a feedback, however I did not contact my school, I just applied. Thanks.
Ahh! You need to inform your uni before you apply. That's the procedure UEL followed anyway. In the video, I added a screenshot of the email from UEL, informing me that UKVI had been notified, and I could apply. Not contacting your uni first may not be an issue though. UKVI have your CAS number and can see that your programme has been completed. Godwilling you'll get your visa soon
What if your result came out when your visa is about to expire and you want to apply but the school did answer ur request for confirmation with the UKVI
@@faridahtheexplorer yeah i have applied approximately 1 month ago basically i made a silly mistake in CAS number add 0 instead of O what you suggest what will happen on it. I submitted cover letter and CAS as well
@@hassansandhu2387 I'm not really sure what your next step should be. Probably speak to your uni, call UKVI about your application, write a letter to your local MP about your application (MPs can be really helpful, having worked for one). You could also wait until you hear back. Just make sure to remain in the UK while you wait. Also, people have been away on holiday, so there's probably a backlog of applications that need to be reviewed.
You will need to speak to your uni about this. At my uni, you cannot 'graduate' if you still owe tuition fees. The best option is to speak to your uni and try to raise the balance of your fees.❤❤

thanks for sharing Faridah, but the one-day approval for you may not be applicable to all. perhaps 3/2weeks to expiration will be better
Absolutely! When to apply is a personal decision. Best to judge the situation and decide on what feels like yhe right time to apply
Hey Faridah, your video was very informative. I wanted to ask if you worked more than 20hours a week whilst on your student visa.
Thank you
Congratulations. Can working above 20hrs per week affect your PSW
That's a tricky one! I do not know, sorry!
Yes it will
Can you apply for a PhD while on the psw.
From what I've heard, this would mean that you have to switch to the student visa. Also, the PSW visa can only be issued once, so you may not have a chance to reapply for it after your PhD. Please speak to your university who can advise you best.

Explaining your circumstance to your uni may help
With the PSW visa you can now work for long hours you no longer limited right.
I can work as many hours as possible.
@@faridahtheexplorer Can u reapply for PSW visa after doing another course?
What after the2-3 years post working visa? What other ways to stay in the UK?
Switch to work sponsor or apply to further your education.
Hello dia how are u
I’m great, thank you. I hope you’re alright too❤️
Am new but tell me after getting the COS what happened now and how long is me to get visa
You do not need a COS for the post study work visa
I have applied still waiting 3 weeks gone
Fingers crossed you will receive your visa soon. Did you apply before the expiration of your student visa?

How long was it before you got your decision?
1 day
On your PSW is it possible to get a job that can sponsor you? How does that count?
Yes. If you get a job that will sponsor you, then you can switch to that employer and then you can settle in 5years
Yes, this is correct. Thanks for answering the question
will i lose post study work visa if i leave uk for some days please reply
There's no restriction on travel on the PSW. Enjoy your travel/holidays!
I have not paid my full uni fee yet. Am I eligible before that ? I have cleared my post graduation plz guide

Did you get sent a new BRP card?
Yes, I was sent a new BRP card. I didn't think I would get one though since there was no mention of it during/after applying.
@@faridahtheexplorer how many days did it take? For the new brp?
Five days after I got my visa
If u leave it to the last day and u are denied.its risky
That's also true! It wouldn't be nice to have no other option but to return home last minute
@evanssal what time do u recommend
Collab with PaRayHD
