It's astonishing to me how many times Lex is just on point with her interpretation. This girl is born for metal.
She should be with me.
It's like metal is a foreign language to Brad and he is sitting there watching Lex having a conversation and he can't figure it out yet. Once he finds a few metal songs that speak to him he will start to understand.

When I first heard this song, I stopped it because I liked it so much. And then I wondered if my neighbors would hear and judge me, and then I turned it up some more apologized in my head and then blasted it. I got a call from my landlord after lol.

The Mummy Returns was kind of the beginning of the Rock's movie career. Then, he got his own film, The Scorpion King, which is what this song was for. And the rest is history.

I love the duality between the two of you when you're reacting. Brad is always fairly stoic and analytical "What is the meaning behind this line? What are they trying to say? How could this be interpreted?" Etc, while Lex is just a ball of excitable energy "RAAAGHH!! I LOVE THIS SONG!! YEAH!!" While starting her own one woman mosh pit. Keep it up guys. Love it.

Such a hard hitting song! Great reaction, great song! More Godsmack..definitely! There's a lot of elitists that talk smack about these guys, but it's a great band.
You should check out “Straight Out of Line”. Another classic Godsmack song.
I've been on a reaction binge for the past 6 months or so, I can honestly say you two are by far the best I've seen. Both of you are authenticate in your reactions and the enthusiasm of Lex is so heartwarming, I can't help but smile and laugh when Lex hears something she likes. Brad, the way you think about the songs are refreshing to watch as well. You two really need a TV show of some sort as your dynamics together are what we need in our lives.

This was specifically written for the movie, and was featured on their album Faceless. It received a grammy nomination. Another song off the same album also received a grammy nomination called "Straight Out of Line," this song was also featured on a movie soundtrack. The movie is called A Man Apart and starred Vin Diesel. Degrees of separation...

Godsmack is one the greatest and most underrated hard rock / metal bands of the last 2 decades!! I never see anyone react to Godsmack, so glad you guys did, hope you go deep down the rabbit hole. This is a band that has no bad songs, every album is jam packed w/ banger after banger all the way through! Would love to see full album reactions starting w/ the 1st album and working your way up, they have like 80+ songs that you need to hear.
I was a huge Godsmack fan when they dropped their 1st album back in '98 - '99.... By the time the 2nd album dropped, I had seen them live 15 times across 5 states, sometimes traveling from one state to the next to see them back to back! I'm on their live DVD, very clearly visible in the front row during Bad Religion. I once hung w/ Sully at a strip club back in 2000 (Club Alex's in Stoughton MA) as we are from the same area and I saw him in there one night. Fast forward nearly 2 decades and their last album (When Legends Rise, 2018) is just phenominal from top to bottom. If you don't have the time to do full album reactions, then screw the reactions, just listen to the album... it's just too good for you not to have it in your life!

Sully Erna has an album that he did with a lot of other musicians called Avalon. That album is so different then what he does with Godsmack. Some of my favorites are Avalon, My Light, Sinner's Prayer, and Eyes of a Child. You will not be disappointed at all!

I always thought Godsmack was “good” and I always loved the Epic-like riff in this song. But I never had a true appreciation of them until I saw them live. They did a drum battle at the end of their set and it was one of the best things I’ve ever seen live, and I’ve been to a lot of shows. They have it on UA-cam. Check it out 👍🏼🤘🏼

This song is my 10 year old daughters walk out song for her jiujitsu competitions. We blast this on every car ride to train! Godsmack is very underrated.

Cool Sully story for you. I was at a concert it St.Louis. Godsmack was on stage....Sully stops the concert and calls out a security guard for throwing a kid out for moshing in the pit. He had the security guard removed and the kid brought back before they would continue the concert. Pure rock n roll badass.

I have always loved the music by Godsmack, and an uneasy feeling about the bands name. He has so many great songs. If I could suggest a first song to listen to it would be the first one I heard "Under your scars". It isn't my favorite only first one I heard. I have enjoyed watching your journey with Tom Macdonald and if yal decide to take a journey with Sully I just it will be just as much fun to watch. I also wanted to say thanks for your content it's very uplifting and honest. Well I have so much to say about Sully's music and the two of you,but this is already a long message.

I saw Godsmack at the boathouse in Norfolk Va. in 1999! Before they were popular there were only like 150 people at the show!!

For me, this song has its own meaning. I love to ride motorcycles, have most of my life. But I’m not into the gang mentality and not part of any motorcycle club. Yeah I ride with some friends occasionally, but for the most part I’ve always been a lone wolf. I ride alone, I stand alone
The Album - "when Legends rise" from God's mack the first 5 tracks are dope as hell. It's more commercialized but I still enjoy them.

Great reaction to a great band. I would highly recommend their drum battle…it is epic! Their precision is incredible. Instrumentally I prefer electric guitar to drums, but when drums are played as well as in drum battle it’s really a pleasure to see/hear.
