- Capt Chuck O'Bier and I fish jigs and plugs for schooling stripers from 2-6 pounds on the rocks and sandbars of upper tide water Potomac River. Holding in the current and casting to the eddies of the offshore structures produced several dozen fish in just a couple of hours. An outgoing tide , a gentle breeze , July or August and slightly stained water and a little overcast are all perfect conditions. Capt Chuck also has a 45' boat named "Sea Fox", which he charters the lower Chesapeake Bay for stripers, bluefish, mackerel, cobia, sea trout, drum and Bull reds. I've fished with Capt Chuck for over 30 years , filming a dozen or so TV shows and he's the best in the business!

That’s my back yard 😂 outstanding show👏🏾
What a great show! Chuck and Roland catching stripers on jigs and lipless crankbaits. Son!!!
That's a cute buoy you have there. Come fish for the bigguns with us at Buoy 10 sometime!
Many professional anglers gently return their fish back to the water, insuring they have recovered from the fight. I've noticed you toss them from 5 feet like their trash.
Watching him "unhooking" those fish was not pretty. Just uses pliers to twist those hooks outta there mouths. Not cool
Nice fishing!
All dinks!!! Oh, what fun!!! Think I'll stick to upper bay...
Should have hit Loch Raven too lol
Would be amazing to get the opportunity to fish stripers with ya! Looks like a lot of fun
Lil guys when it comes to striper but still a ton of fun to catch.
