So, i can stay at home and prepare for my professional exams meanwhile doing graduation from du sol…the only thing is that during m semester exams, I have to stay in delhi…even a single class needs not to be attended in compulsion…

@@mahakagrawal3602 yes there's no need to take classes if you don't want to attendance doesn't matter at all. You can prepare for competitive exams while doing clg from sol. You just have to appear in exams. That's all
Hello can you explain me does bba will be complete from du Sol some people said this is not possible to complete bba from du Sol they give us books but they don't give classes and do not provide any help.

Yes you can do BBA from sol. SOL provide classes on Sunday's only.
I am very confused which open university is best to get admission ignou or du sol
IGNOU is all over India and DU SOL is only in Delhi also SOL comes under Delhi University you would get degree of DU. Acc. To my experience DU SOL is better than IGNOU. In SOL you don't need to give any practical or assignments but in IGNOU you have to.

If you're joining sol just because yoh couldn't secure admision in regular college, and is doing nothing along with SOL degree
Belive me its a waste to time , ive also done the same , haven't got any college in 2022 and joined sol , no mentorship, delayed study material , delayed result , and absolutely no space during offline classes , in 2023 i regave CUET and now im studying in ARSD and everything here is 100 times better , faculty , environment, exams , classes , crowd etc., can tell you SOL is not worth it if you're doing nothing with it ,

400 out of 800 can i get south campus or off campus ST Category BA PROGRAMME ORR POL. SCIENCE HONOURS
For SOL you need to pass from 12th with mini 45% marks to get admission in these courses. And you can't decide the campus...it's upto SOL in which college they want to alot .

Yes in every semester college centre change hota h but sometimes same clg me bhi centre padh jata h
Du sol ka exam sal me ek bar hota hai ya semester wise hota haii
Aur course ka fees jitna hota hai sb ek hi bar dena padta hai form bhrte time ya uske liye bhi koi alag se data hota hai
Semester wise exams hote 2times in a year. Fees 2semester ki ek saath pay krni hoti h admission lete time 1yr ki pay krni hoti h.

1) if you want to prepare for govt exams then I prefer you to do college from du sol bcoz you wouldn't able to concentrate on the preparations. In regular college you need to go regularly so ... Sol.
2) yes, you can still fill SOL form but I think CUET ka result jaldi aajayega if you want to wait you can and if you think late h toh go with Sol. But SOL ke form probably August tk open rehte h.

I just filled my DUSOL admission form in BA hons English so can u please guide me what to do now.....how to get future updates regarding exams , projects/ assignments , Books in hardcopy etc...as u said there is no mentorship in sol in which u can get regular updates like regular colleges properly.
EDIT : And please tell me about the regional centre as i'm from Delhi and got the NORTH REGIONAL CENTRE. THANK U.
SOL usually inform through SMS if there's any update about exams or internal assessments there's no projects...and if you have chosen the option of hardcopy then you'll get to appointment then from the given link you would get the date ,time, place where will get the books(carry the fee receipt) or else if you have other doubts you can also search it through UA-cam here you'll find the new updates regarding DU SOL.
You can ask your doubts from the regional centre of Sol ...if you got the north regional centre then you may get the clg of North. In regional centre there's library which you can use for free(carry fee receipt and ID card always). Books distribution is also done here ...

Yes, you can surely take admission in a regular PG course after completing your graduation from SOL. Anybody can apply for a master's program at DU.

Hello jhanwi! I'm also willing to take admission in du sol this year, nd I'm thinking of choosing BA hons in English cuz as a child I've had always been interested in English language. But many of my advicers says that it is not worth it. They say you should do it only if you want to be a professor or a teacher but i just like reading and learning English. I did not know about the cuet exam and forgot to apply for it. That's why im choosing sol as i don't want to waste a year. Im also thinking doing side jobs and courses but i don't know what to do. I'm anxious about it all. Please guide me 🙏
Hello dear! I think BA hons. English is better option if you love to read and learning English. In this you would learn alot about the history of whole English or the types literature. Look it's better to go with own interest rather than listening to others opinions, you would do better if you have interest in this from other subjects. In the other hand, You have alot of options in course if you want to do job or learn any skills you just need search a bit according to your interest so it would be easy for you.
DU SOL is for those who wants to do jobs or other courses and have financial crises. You can do diploma, internship etc. in particular field. While doing college. No need worry just think about it in which field you want to go or have interest.

Honestly if I say I was confused too but now I have found my interest in these courses so I'm just going with the flow with this.

Only women can take admission through NCWEB in DU. Classes are held weekly (only Sunday)for the students. SOL means, school of open learning . Both men or women can take admission in SOL.

@@its__me234 NCWEB has only two programs BA and BCom (Prog). So obviously SOL should be your Preference. But if talking about BCom (Prog), I'll suggest go for NCWEB as it will give you College exposure and the classes only takes place on Weekends. So you have enough time to do allied courses.

It is NOT worth it if you're not doing anything beside it, if you've other things in mind that you want to achieve with your degree then it's worth it
Yes ba hons. Is for 4yrs but it's upto you if you want to drop it in 3yrs then you can. Yes it's worth while doing other courses else it's the last option of the maximum students to do it from sol. There are no assignments.

In SOL you can get admission without CUET but in regular you have to give CUET.

Ba in psychology and bba both are different in fields. But you should go for BBA, as it will be best option for business administration.

Look of you want to study from books then study material of SOL is better from any other books and the novels you can issue from the library, if you want sample papers then you can get it from any book store near colleges. But I prefer everyone to try to study from e-books, Pdf, or UA-cam detail videos etc. it really helps you alot and also saves ur money too.

No, I don't so diploma students can get admission in SOL. The eligibility of DU SOL is must passed from 12th class with minimum 45%.

Nhi science stream ke liye nhi h koi course qki science me mostly practicals hote h isiliye. Bsc provide nhi krta SOL.

Admission are already started from 3june.
So you should get admission as soon as possible from the official site of DU SOL I have also mentioned the link in description box also I have explained few things about SOL official website so you can watch that video of Sol admission 2024.

@@missmyst1 yahh sometimes things get late in sol like late result declaration, admit card allotment etc etc but overall it's good.

Girls clg!!! It depends on your course ki konsa college alot hoga. DU SOL me attendance matter nhi krti toh agr aapne ek baar bhi class attend nhi kri toh bhi aap exam de skte ho.
