    Im Germany you have to put in 1Euro coin into your cart to get for shopping in EVERY Supermarkt! 1Euro is about 1,25$. They make sure you return your cart and you do not leave it flinging around in the parking lot. Germans are quite tidy!!! 😅🤣

    YAY!!! Poutine, just a note, take out the cheese curds way before you decide to make the fries, then break them up into smaller pieces, this insures the cheese will melt nicely, when you pour over the hot gravy. Funny thing is, in northern Ontario they call it Pootin and in the south we call it Pooteen, the northern way is the right way because it was originated in Quebec. HAPPY NEW YEAR kick out 2020!!!

    Did you end up smoking or baking the roast? We bake ours after we rub with fresh garlic, salt, pepper, rosemary. Then at 450-500 We sear for 30 min. Then lower to 350 for 20 minutes per pound. Oh yeah, make sure roast comes 2 room temperature prior 2 cooking. Meat thermometer helps a Lot. Best to you.

    Powdered milk depends on how it's stored, your climate and the brand. When I was in Georgia a year or two it was no good. Here, Montana, I've had it for 5 years and it's been fine. There is a difference between the granulated and powder. Honestly, others may have a different experience, but the color went off on the granulated stuff faster. LDS storage used to say 2 years on it. They are packing it different now so not sure any longer. I've bought Grandma's Country powdered, which I think is the best, and it came in cans for 20 year storage.

    My mom used to make her own hot chocolate mix with the powdered milk - made the jumbo green tupperware bowl that most mom's would make bread dough in, as it was big enough to let it rise and not overflow the pan, and it lasted all winter, which was great and a lot cheaper than buying mix all winter long.

    • @dannycamejo9190
      @dannycamejo9190 4 роки тому

      Edmonton. Here Co-op, Superstore, Save-On, Walmart all require coins. I think some Sobeys don’t, but that’s it. We don’t have Freshco in the West. Maybe we’re just worse at returning our carts so they make us pay for it if we don’t!

    "So I bought this 60.00 rib roast, (Adam claps hands bouncing up and down overjoyed in the background at Jenns grocery store selections ) and for the kids I picked up two cans of 98 cent spaghettios. (Kera and Conner jump up and down clapping hands equally overjoyed at mom's grocery store selections) :D :D Something perfect for everyone in the family at Aldis, gotta love it.

    La terra fina is a great brand. Their spinach, artichoke & parmesan dip from Sam’s Club is sooo good.

      Yep, local to me, too! I see their trucks all over the place. Fantastic quality and great products. If you've never had one of their deli sandwiches, you are missing out! I definitely was in shock to see Byrne Dairy In Jen's haul, I only see it locally/regionally around here.

      @@bethlewis9981 Born and raised here in Syracuse, Byrne Dairy is a staple, their ice cream is also incredibly delicious. Always a pleasant surprise when you see your hometown favorites in different parts of the country!
