    Hey i love ur videos!! Found this one after watching ur crew trying the Gyroor Hover Shoes (skates). I totally want to try the Free skates now as they are faster and seem more versatile. Waiting for my Gyroors to arrive and ill get comfy with those b4 trying your Freeskates. Awesome invention! Im sure I wont get to doing the tricks you guys "successfully" did, but it gives me confidence to know what can be done with both products so I'll be more relaxed using them. Thnx!!

    I just found that these don't hold up the greatest to even just... rougher roads. Took a bad spill and can't walk now, I'm definitely never taking these on anything but the ABSOLUTE smoothest asphalt. Lesson learned.

    • @jmkride
      @jmkride  2 роки тому

      Sorry to hear that! You definitely need to ride where you're comfortable. Very experienced riders can handle rougher roads, just make sure you aren't pushing it too far for what you can handle

    broke my clavicle while freeskating 8 months ago. my fault, was not watching where i was going, hit a pebble and took a terrible fall. still not fully healed, remember, safety first, nothing happen yet does not mean wont happen.

      Oh no! So sorry to hear. Yes, safety first always. Unfortunately with any wheeled ride, pebbles are not our friends

    Hey! Just got myself a pair of these, living in Mexico City. They are a blast, but I’m having trouble long term skating on rough terrain, like sidewalks with cracks and stuff like that… could you talk about long term skating through rough surfaces? Is it even possible or is it just my beginner skill level? Maybe some rider who is not from the USA could help us out with a video? Thanks!

    • @jmkride
      @jmkride  2 роки тому +3

      Hi Natalia! You will definitely build up the ability to ride over rough terrain over time. Comfortability on the skates and building the muscles it takes to power through will make it much easier. Keep practicing and put time on the skates, it will get easier as you do!

      @@lucasd.6746 hey! I actually bought a pair of freeskates and they're really fun to learn and use, but definitely not a means of transportation. I barely use my freeskates now, and ended up using regular skates to get around and to exercise more seriously

    I've been learning freeskating for a few weeks now, finally got better at pumping and turning but then I thought I could go through a driveway apron/curb/gutter thing and my skates slipped 😵 screwed up ligaments in my ankle and I can't skate for over a month now 😓 and here you are jumping down from bricks, going through dirt and grass and gravel and 😵😵🤣
    I won't give up though, I keep learning to ride these darn things 😁 but I am definitely scared to hit that spot again, maybe I'll wear an ankle brace and high top shoes next time I try it.

      It's winter here so there are very few opportunities to skate, but my ankle is better and whenever there is no snow I've been skating and I'm finally improving again 😁 learning to ride switch too.. But no more curbs or gutters for now 😂 and the ground is wet most of the time but I'm so happy to be able to skate again.
