Manchester money row: An act of treachery or a financial reality?

talkRADIO’s Ian Collins questions who is right in the row between Greater Manchester mayor Andy Burnham and Boris Johnson over the financial support for the region’s tier three Covid restrictions.
He says: “I don’t blame any local mayor for wanting to get as much for their local pot as they possibly can…but when they don’t get it, is that an act of treachery, or is it just a financial reality?”
It comes after the Prime Minister said Greater Manchester will receive his £60 million offer, despite Mr Burnham’s calls for £65 million.
