As data in today's world is the new oil, cyber security has become very necessary for any country to protect its integrity and security. Data protection bill which is now with a joint parliamentary committee has to be passed soon.
Data protection law according the Srikrishna committee is very necessary and data from different organizations like UA-cam, Facebook etc should be save in our country. That data protection can reduce the cyber attacks.
We also need to push for global initiative regarding data protection. So others countries could come together to make laws over Data Security and Storage in domestic cyberspace.
India's ranking in this index is commendable. Today era is digital . Cyber issue is bound to happen.. Therefore, we need cyber security. In this direction, policy and legal rule would play crucial role.
