Amazing Creamy Turkey Pie Recipe

- This will be the best turkey pie recipe you will ever taste. If you have any turkey, ham or chicken leftovers, then this recipe is for you. If you don’t, it’s still well worth making. There’s something amazing and homely about a flaky buttery home made savoury pie. You can cut corners if you buy the pie crust already made plus if you’re using turkey or roast chicken leftovers. For this pie, I used a 9 inch non stick cake pan. If you can make the turkey stock yourself, it’s well worth it, but otherwise you can use any chicken stock. See my recipe for the pie crust, you will need one and a half the quantities so you have enough to cover. Enjoy my turkey pie! Happy Baking!

Recipe30 thanks - I cooked a small 1.1kg chicken in my airfryer yesterday so will give this a try later this week. What was the reason for letting it cool 90 mins before slicing?

I made this pie with leek, ham and chicken. And for the very first time, I daringly made the short crust pastry on Christmas day! But because your previous recipes that I've tried out were all spot on, I had complete trust in you. So it turned out perfectly, and I got rave reviews! No more shop-bought pastry..Lol. Love this!!! I've never added dijon to my chicken/turkey pies but will in the future. I always season with Herbs de Provence and bloom a bit of saffron in stock. The simplicity of the exterior is stunning and correlates perfectly with the colourful interior - we all know the present is more important than the wrapping.(only a thoughtful Chef thinks about the overall effect) You do eat with your eyes as well, and in this case you eat very well! Thank you Chef & compliments to whomever does all of the editing & compiling!

Joel my good friend, nice recipe, i prefer chicken over turkey, but this is a fine turkey recipe. Here in Kentucky we prefer a whole turkey deep fried or slow smoked in a smoker with hickory wood, is delicious, cheers mate ! ( i'm still remembering cheers mate, lol)

A nice recipe! Scheduled for my next chicken. Tarragon is a kitchen herb that receives too little attention in this country. In France it is very popular and I know it there e.g. in fish dishes. Can you maybe cook us a "Matelote"? I would be very interested in your preparation.👍😉

Thanks Olga, I will be making vegan pies soon. Yes Australia is still suffering with many fires, not over yet. The smoke is affecting people's health. I had to seal all the doors and windows when sleeping. The wind has blown it away for now, so air quality is almost clear where I am.

Hi isn't the pie cold after 90 min's?
It's luke warm and will need to be reheated, but if you want it hot out of the oven, cut it in the pan otherwise you could have a mess.
