Here's hoping you guys can make the transition to longer term In Flag, it really is fantastic. Talk to the team at ON about her relocation, too, they may be able to help with logisitics!!
@@MNP208 I'm in CO but split time and yes, homeowners' is insanely high both states because of fire risk. It might actually be lower in Flag than in Boulder.
I relate so hard to your feelings at the end about missing runs and the negative self talk that follows. I had a series of events happen in June, one was a death in the family and another was was my right hip acting up again and I just fell off the wagon. Even though it was good that I took a break from runs for a bit, I could/should have continued to do other things like cycling, walking, s&c, but I just didn’t. I am currently slowly crawling out of the hole I got myself in, I lost a lot of fitness, and am 2 runs (that I had to walk part of) into getting back on my feet. It’s been rough.
Really sorry to hear about your bereavement. I totally feel you though, it’s not just the one week that gets effected it takes me a while to get back to things which makes it all worse and yes I could definitely keep on top of other areas but of course I don’t BUT sounds like we both get ourselves back no matter how long it takes and that’s what really matters! Love the Grind!
So glad you mentioned that Phily was ranked no 1 in UK, nearly all year until today. Great job with all the videos, training camp and race support. It must be a challenge putting Elliott’s videos together, he makes hyperactive Phily seem comatose in comparison…
Long-run yo-yo - took me a while to realise (i'm slow of uptake at times) that it's due to really subtle gradient changes - those long uphill drags that look flat, ugh! Also - strength traingng and runnig on tried leggies is a thing that needs factoring in to how you rate a session! My current schedule gives me a day between gym and whatever session Phily has scheduled in and it makes a huge difference. Merch - too late now but some long sleeved training stuff please! A PBRC long sleeve would be epic. Marathon - you hit 10k subs but that doesn't mean you need to do one right away. I've pushed my plans back because I'm just not physically ready to lift the volume up to what I think I'd need to complete a maraton in a time I'd be happy with. Do one when you're ready! Congrats on the 10k subs! 🎉
Way to go Daniel! 10k subscribers is amazing. Great job on the training. Running is hard whether you’re a pro or non pro runner. I too am working my way up to longer long runs. Hoping to do a half marathon in February. Safe travels back to the UK. 😀👟🏃🏻♀️
Congrats hitting 10k! Marathon time? =D As always, appreciate the editing, and the memes! I also enjoyed the S&C routine, maybe a full video on that would be good. Keep up the great work, love the grinnnnddd!
Thanks for clarifying the status of the merch. I was thinking of buying the t-shirt to run the marathon in it in October. Well, if new stock arrives only closer to Christmas, then, it is what it is...
Fitting in your runs and harder sessions around leg day is tricky. What worked for me last time i had sore legs on a speed season day, was to go out and do the warm up and try the first rep. If it felt awful I'd turn it into an easy run instead. As it happened, once I'd done the warm up the legs loosened up and felt decent. It's easy to tell yourself it will be too much and just skip the run, but you don't really know until you start, it's just guesswork at that point.
Pretty sure I went up that mountain lift you rode on your date night. It was mid-summer. But when we got halfway up it started snowing and hailing on us so we just had to come straight back down. They were kind enough to have some hot chocolate waiting at the bottom.
I won a free entry to Chicago 2024 at the end of July - with only 12 weeks to train 😱. I’m going to use the Galloway run/walk method. I just can’t get in the required training mileage to run the whole way.
Would you guys be able to discuss what you should do if you have a crap training blocks for a race. For example it has been so hot and humid here this summer that I have only finished one of my really long runs without completely crashing. Afraid to see how the marathon is going to go. Should you decide to defer or drop down to a half instead?
Daniel: Marathon training is… yeah, I don’t think I ever wanna do that
Subscriber count: Hold my beer

Is your homeowners insurance outrageous there due to fires?

I love how you keep it so real. This is exactly what I go through most weeks so it helps me knowing it’s not just me!
10k subs! Well Done Daniel. And another great vid. Good luck on whatever is coming next. And best of luck Philly for Berlin!
Congrats on 10k Daniel! Love the grind
Congrats on 10K. Will be great to see you back in Flag longer term. Look forward to your wedding. It's inevitable!

I’ve also always struggled with squeezing legs day and running in a week :”) but I know it’s important!

Apologies, we’d love to find a way of having the shop open all the time but as you can imagine this takes a lot of person power 😂

Yea, congrats on the 10k😊
Thank you!! 😁

There's always York Marathon 20th Oct, 5 weeks out and Manchester in April.
I’ll be on holiday in October and I think I have something happening in April… 😂

Consistent training means days of struggle for no reason but consistent training.
Like the sunglasses! What are they if you don’t mind me asking?
The way I would watch and rewatch and rewatch Philly's Kitchen Nightmares...
That gym suspiciously looks exactly like the one Molly was working out in during a recent video😉
Did you guys meet up with Jamil Coury at Aravaipa Running, yet? In Phoenix, AZ?
10k!
congrats on deciding to run a full marathon soon!
“Soon” is a relative term 😉
So 10K subs was a marathon, 20K an Ultra? Lets goooooo
That is a step too far 😂 maybe 100k 😉
