The H'mong may only know how to farm, but that's the very thing that many in America wish they knew, what with the growing food shortages in the grocery stores. Nowadays the wealthiest people are those who have their health and peace within their family, those two things are very rate in America. You, Vang Hoa and her family have been greatly blessed by the creator. Keep up the good work, you're doing great!
When rice planting season is over the rice farmers should plant a cover crop. This way the soil doesn't become bare and dried out. Bare soil leads to poor soil. A cover crop is a crop that used to help return nutrients back into the soil. It also creates food for the local wildlife, who in turn eat the food and then leave behind their poop which will become fertilizer. It's good that you planted the banana trees along the out bank of the pond. Those will act as a natural fish feeding mechanism when the leaves fall off into the pond. When the banana trees mature the root will help to prevent erosion.

Oh Vang and Zon nonstop working after planting grains of rice, working again at the house to cook pig foods. But the only consolation is those roses are beautiful it relaxes the tired body. Vang you are so hard working lady helping Zon with his daily chores.

I really love this amazing culture! Neighbours help each other for a big job to be done! They just peacefully work together as a big family! If everyone were as kind as they are, this world won’t have wars anymore. Money can help build many more schools, hospitals for poor countries; instead of making nuclear bombes! Back to Zon’s house, Roses are gorgeous! Banana trees are beautiful, the dogs are healthy & the couple is great. All is perfect ! 😍😍

I’m so happy to see the neighbors come together and help each other to get the work done quicker. I want to know is most of the young women beautiful as vang Hoa and good worker and work fast and hard like that? Zon you and vang Hoa are so alike in many ways. You both are meant for each other. I wish you both healthy so you both can work hard to keep everything in good shape on taking care of the farm and animals and home.

Its atraditional way of planting rice in upland.i remember my teen life when i was once experience this.a very enjoyable way of farming together with nieghbors ,friends and love ones.i never thought this is also happening somewhere in this wide world.same gathering when harvest time also..i kinda go back to my old folks in our province in the philippines..love watching you two together. ❤️Take care always.

I did this kind of planting when i was a young woman.. we called it hasikan.. upland planting rice.. so... fun.. all friend and nieghbors are helping each other.. true sprit of cooperation and friendship
