When the camera comes soaring in over the English countryside and into Emmerdale I am always reminded of Dawn French and The Vicar of Dibley. I loved that show. Thanks for posting in such high definition.
Adam: Aaron's on his own one minute-- next breath- what if he gets sent up. Adam CAN NOT stop caring about Aaron- no matter how pissed off he makes Adam. That friendship for you :)
Not much happened in this episode. Just a little more pressure in the cooker. I'm waiting for the day in court. Thanks for the upload. Funny, the opening screen says "Subtitles". For a second I was excited that I was going to get English subtitles for the Yorkshire dialect! LOL. Of course, it just means when you watch it on TV, you can select subtitles.
@alwaysuseless I hear ya! I too felt so relieved when I saw the opening screen... Sometimes, even though I try hard not to, I miss a substantial part of the dialogues...
They want Aaron to stand up in court and tell them he's gay, when he cant except it himself. One thing you should never do is force someone to come out when they are not ready. Aaron is in no way ready, and its sad that he's being forced to do it before he's ready.
@ladylestat01 They don't have to live his life, he does. They can't know, no matter how well intentioned they ae what it's like for him. They can guess, they can even empathize, but until they've lived it, they can't know. He's struggling and it's hard to save yourself, when you think you're not worth saving.
@ladylestat01 If he does do what everyone wants him to do, it won't be for himself. From the look on his face when he went upstairs he'll be doing it for Paddy. Because if he wants to admit it or not to himself or Paddy, he view Paddy as a father figure. He loves him and knows now just to what extent all of this is getting to Paddy. Knows that Paddy if afraid for him and wants him to be more than just alright, but actually happy.
@HigherC Makes you wonder if Aaron got it. And did Aaron overhear the comment: "If he can't handle it here, how does he expect to handle it in prison?" (Something like that.) We can only hope that these comments seep into Aaron's closed-off mind.
@ladylestat01 And while I understand people's fruatration with Aaron. None of them have had to live in his shoes. None of them know how tortured he is by all ob this, or to what depths of depresseion and deinal it takes for someone to make a serious attempt to end their lives. Aaron has this image of himself in his head that his sexuality can't live up to. He has to redefine who he is to himself and accept himself. Until he doesn that it doesn't matter how accepting other people are of him.
@msteareader He knows he's gay, he just doesn't want the world to know, and even though he knows, he doesn't accept it. It's stupid, inconsistent, and hell. I've been there. A lot of people have.

Great scene at the end. Aaron hearing the big kids talking in the other room added a lot to it. Great work by the cast. Thanks for posting the vid!
I think Pearl is the black smoke LOL
Aaron story is trotting along slowly - thanks you the edit

I agree with paddy when he told aaron how lucky he is. aaron just can't see that either that or he see it but doesn't want to believe.
Aaron's comment: "Have the whole world thinking he was gay."
Wake up Aaron- you are GAY!!!

Does Rhona know that Aaron is gay? The way she acts- makes me think that she knows.

I still want Aaron and Adam to hook up.
