“What you should probably ask yourself is who do you feel you’d want to spend the last day of your life with, and then start figuring a way to meet them tomorrow, and meet them as often as you can. Why wait until the last day ?” That was beautifully put.
I was fortunate enough to observe a stockholders meeting 25 years ago. I then took my retire funds and put them in Berkshire shares. Now retire has two fundamental advantages to me: still alive at 82 and never experienced poverty.
I'm so proud of you Andrew for coming up with such a wonderful question and having the courage to ask it! Bravo! And Warren's answer is a treasure- what an incredible person Charlie was, and this shows how perfect of a friendship and partnership they had!! We miss you Charlie!
In my life i first thought communists are great ,and mixed economy is best for people , I also fool by slogan of the people,by the people and for people But now i understand capitalism ,and usa are truly best for people
Fear is a dangerous component, hindering us from taking the bold steps we need in other to reach our goals. Nobody can become financially successful overnight. They put in background work but we tend to see the finished part.
I think it's not always about fear, Sometimes realistic factors discourage people from reaching their goals in life. For instance, I've tried investing in the stock market several times but always got discouraged by fluctuations of stock value
Just read his 2023 letter to shareholders & the way he writes especially as it pertains to the people he’s closest to, he truly is a remarkable leader and it clearly is an honor to work with him. Charlie sounds like a truly remarkable man too and their success together is a testament to their commitment and immense strength as a powerhouse of the industry. And now I want to read every single letter! Such an awesome video
This young man will have lifelong friends. Thanks to him and Warren as always, a great question was turned into a timeless answer. Charlie Munger lives.
Wow!! He don't remember a time when they got mad on each other . I have always wondered about this ..that if they had disagreements and had some bad days and didn't speak to each other. That's incredible friendship.
I am from Miami United State🇺🇸, The difference Mrs Lucy Mary Liam makes in my life is second to none it's definitely a life changing kindness. I really appreciate her effort in my life.
Seeing my broker talked on UA-cam, This was exactly how I got the recommendation about her for the past years. Hit $200k today. Thank you for all the knowledge and nuggets you had thrown my way over the last months. Started with $20k in July 2024
Her good strategies of making large amount weekly profits for her clients are totally outstanding. Investing my $1500 with doubt and withdrawing $12,300 with happiness. I ❤️ you Lucy.
Legendary ! Jurgen Klopp: “Goodbye would not be tough if the time you had together was not worth it, so it’s really tough because we had a great time together.”
Two heads are always better than one, alone its not possible to really enjoy life, you can have group of freinds but you will always be close to just one or two
I watched the full video of Berkshire Hathaway's annual meeting. I was impressed by how his position has remained fluid ever since he's been investing, and yet he still remains in the game. I've been following Buffett since 2019, and I've learnt so much from his personal investment style to earn myself five figures monthly in dividend income.
I was really moved when he unknowingly mentioned Charlie Munger. Their relationship was very deep. I've been following them both too, and they've really changed my investment philosophy and who I should invest with.
My favorites by far are value investing and staying within your circle of competence or investing with someone who is competent. I'm a psychologist, so investing is not my competence, but I identify the best investors. The one I've worked with for the past couple years have made me more than $400k in net return.
I'm hesitant to make recommendations like this online so I can't drop her contact here, but you could look her up yourself and contact her if you wish. Her name is Sharon Lynne Hart.
😢😢😢 rest in peace, Charlie. 🙏 2024 Mr Buffett, I believe I have as much integrity as you and Charlie, why I cry when I hear you both speak i always run away from those I think I might lose.. 😢 please, please, please drink water.
I wonder what it's like to lose somebody to death when you're close to dying yourself. I wouldn't think it would hurt so much because you wouldn't be anticipating a long life without them. I don't know, though.
hello, i started the last week and dont have experience at all in this binary world. I will try tomorrow the steps of this video, i will write you after i try it. Thank you for the video.
Munger and Buffett have my utmost respect. However, as a person who has studied health and longevity for 10 years, I have to wonder........if Munger would have exercised and avoided the Coke, and See's Candies, would he have made it to 105 or 110? Most of the recent science says exercise, avoiding sugar, restricting your eating (i.e. Intermittent Fasting), etc., can add many years to your life. I guess we'll never know, but Charlie is one guy I wish would have stuck around for another 99.9 year.
You think another 5 or 10 years at that age is worth it? Charlie lived a life and enjoyed it. He had a full life and has fun. Hell, at that age I wouldn't have sacrificed tasty food either
@@NerdyBirdy16 All depends on your values. Charlie had a very sharp mind....and every minute of life is valuable. And selfishly, I wanted him around as long as possible during these crazy days. His exceptional wisdom was always much appreciated.
I'm starting to wonder what life is actually about, since the pain this guy must be going through after losing a good portion of people he loved the most. Forever. His first wife, his dad, now his friend... I hope life is a joke.
“What you should probably ask yourself is who do you feel you’d want to spend the last day of your life with, and then start figuring a way to meet them tomorrow, and meet them as often as you can. Why wait until the last day ?”
That was beautifully put.
"and don't bother with the others"
that was a WOW! answer.
I felt that!!!
“He went everywhere with his mind”.
Such a deep understanding and respect this duo had for one another. RIP Charlie
You can hear the pain and sadness in his voice
True. But you could also hear the affection and the joy.
I was fortunate enough to observe a stockholders meeting 25 years ago. I then took my retire funds and put them in Berkshire shares. Now retire has two fundamental advantages to me: still alive at 82 and never experienced poverty.
Congratulations 🎉
Congratulations. Sounds like you've made good choices.
Am I the only one emotional hearing this man speak? What a legend; what a person
Both of them
This kid came in clutch. Was hoping for an emotional tribute
Charlie and Warren One of the greatest investors. More than money, one of the finest people.
I hadn't shed a tear over Charlie's passing, until now.
👍👍
Seeing Warren up on the stage without Charlie breaks my heart a little. Respect to these two legends.
I'm so proud of you Andrew for coming up with such a wonderful question and having the courage to ask it! Bravo! And Warren's answer is a treasure- what an incredible person Charlie was, and this shows how perfect of a friendship and partnership they had!! We miss you Charlie!
Mr. Buffett and Mr. Munger are the definition of national treasures! Thank you both for your service! RIP, Charlie!
RIP Charlie
93 yr-old richest man on earth answers a question from a kid sincerely, this is why America is the greatest country.
Absolutely so. Warren primed me to cry and you put me over the top

@@Repps87what’s the problem? This man is made in America, without America he wouldn’t be the person he is today
@@micahcabral3870 Its irrelevant. Warren Buffet seems like a good human. If him and charlie were farmers and friends in Turkey, he would say the same.

Oh, that sounds good.
So, who is this person and how do I reach out?
I looked up her full name online and found her page. I emailed and made an appointment to talk with her; hopefully, she gets back to me.

Such a deeply profound question and it took a kid to be the one to ask it. Everyone’s opinion matters. That kid will go on to do great things
"why wait til the last day?" indeed
Talking about a modern day Saint, Charlie is one ... I am genuinely touched.
rest in peace, charlie :(. We learned a lot!

I'm glad I was introduced to forex trading and got the best teacher and mentor who helped me understand the financial market I'm grateful to Mrs Liam🙏

I invested $2,000 and the trade in one month making close to $20,000. I wonder where she got her analysis.

Betty White too! She was so close to 100. I remember being 9 years old wishing she would make it there. RIP 🙏🏽
Such a remarkable answer. Buffet and Munger's relationship is the stuff dreams are made of.
I think most of us have been looking for that great friend all our lives but never really found that person.
