@PaladinX500 Yasu made her Beatrice personality blonde to fit Battler's ideal woman, along with "The blue eyes, breasts, and rowdy personality" that she didn't have. Meaning she's not naturally blonde. Lion's appearance is a placeholder, as described by Bernkastel herself. Lion's appearance is basically Krauss, Natsuhi, and Jessica mashed together. We've never seen what Yasu/Lion looks like.
It's very implicit and between the lines in Part 7; mostly the fact that Yasu didn't start wearing wigs until she started pretending to be a witch, and no one on the island can think of anyone with blonde hair except Beatrice. :P Still, it's fine to symbolically depict Yasu as blonde, imo, simply because she hates looking at herself and, like Lion, would probably be given an abstract appearance.

After all, her physical aspect it's nor really so important (for me at least) and it isn't a fact that was declared in red. You're not understanding the issue. EP7's narration explicitly points out that both her witch personas require wigs...INCLUDING her blonde Beatrice persona. Realistically speaking, Yasu's hair is probably the most like Kanon's, and Shannon and Beatrice are both wigs. The manga isn't any help; the characters look the way they do for our benefit, not in-universe. Jessica implicitly is not blonde to the other characters.
Well...you're right, just because your parents are blonde doesn't mean you are gonna be blonde. But I think Yasu is blonde. Why? Well, Genji and Kumasawa took care of the child in secret to avoid another incest incident of Kinzo. That's why I'm support Yasu is blonde, maybe she looks like her mother and grandmother. In manga, she appears as a long blonde girl, but Ryukishi didn't give a concrete image of her. For me, she looks like Beato in maid dress xDD
It doesn't matter what people believe if they're factually, demonstratably wrong. That's like not calling someone an idiot because they think the earth is flat. Not all beliefs are worth respecting. EP7 (and a bit of EP6) specifically states that blond hair (along with the big breasts) is why she gave those qualities to Beatrice. They were traits she didn't have.
Ok...If you're so sure of that, I'll check it. I know that part of EP 6, but I have to see EP 7 again because I don't remember that well. If you're right, I'll accept it and I will agree with you if it really says that specifically. Then, I'll have to erase my own Yasu's physical concept.
