hmmmm i dont remember seeing crystal darts or sleep arrows having tutorials or npcs giving them to you in order to show off their mechanics and upgrading them with Glovewarts at the beginning of the game, maybe and bear with me maybe fromsoft not only nudges you but also shoves you into using them also since they essentially have no repercussions bosses or basic enemies don't get buffed to compensate for the ai summons and since the multiplayer sucks in vanilla summons are gonna be the only option for a good chunk of the playerbase shit mimic tear singlehandedly carried a lot of players new especially through the game but id wager they would rather have a friend helping them than some AI. I absolutely despise people like you who lie and gaslight in order to protect a game from obvious issues you saying "If you don't like them, don't use them. The game is what it is, if you bought it for PvP or coop only then that's on you." in a discussion about a serious issue many people have with this game just shows how far you are willing to go, so far in fact that you attempt to turn around the issue on those who expect a quality multiplayer game in 2022 instead of accepting that it is an issue and modders shouldn't have to fix fromsofts shit in the first place .Your actions and the actions of those with similar mindsets to you who consoom and ignore issues with games are the reason the gaming industry is the cesspit it is in now. I believe elden ring is a great game in many aspects but for a game released in 2022 to have shit multiplayer systems like this is inexcusable.
@@mattdarwin3978 bruh deal with it I'm not gaslighting nor am I lying about anything here. If you don't value my opinion that's fair enough. You are entitled to your opinion and I respect that. However I really don't agree with you on the multiplayer being "shitty" it's just a different system than most other games have. In the world of Japanese RPGS it's not that outlandish. You can think that it's shitty but a lot of people don't think it's bad and that's that. A matter of preference. You can't expect every dev to cater to your liking. Also, chill, go touch some grace
Great video Sam. Though I think we can all look forward to the first person Elden Ring series coming soon
