Hi Lisa. Thank you for the vlog. You made me smile the whole way through because of the joy that you had for your purchases. Looking forward to seeing you decorate your home 🎄🎄🎄xxx
Hi Lisa, Thank you so much for this fantastic Christmas haul. What lovely items you've bought, and I especially love the glass bauble. I'll be heading to Home Bargains tomorrow to buy one. It will look lovely sitting on my heart with fairy lights inside. Sending you lots of love, Annie ♥️ xxx
Nice finds Lisa. I usually order my Rub&Buff online. Also, the large white bells would look more upscale if you change the thin metal tounges to thicker wooden ones. Just drill long enough hole in a round or square dowels cut to size and using some superglue insert the thin metal tongue in the dowel. Then you can stain the dowels the wood colour that you like. It gives the bells more authentic vintage look. Also, from colour point of view, best colours to cover with gold are dark red and black. So the bells may need thin coat of red or black spray paint. My poundland just got sets of velvet bows 2 bows for £1. And they have the alligator clips allready attached to clip on the tree, in your hair or to a present 😊 I promise, I'll stop adding, as im watching the video 😂 if you prime the plastic with spray paint primer, you could use the R&B on the plastic too, and will stick on. Also there is an online company that could make wooden lid for any jar if you give them the size, cant remember the name, but Mr Carrington on UA-cam mentions them in couple of his video, they are an uk based company 😊
Hi Lisa, great haul. The wreath you showed I had to get it off Amazon due to never seeing it in my local store. I’m obsessed with bells as well, so no you haven’t gone bell overload. Would love to see your crafts. When you are in America pick up ribbon, they have some amazing ones and cheaper than here in the UK. 💕
Lisa I had to pause this video and shoot to B&M to get some hot chocolate bits! They had some novelty gingerbread cookies 2 for £1 which probably taste disgusting but look very pretty so I’m going to use them in my cake dome for display purposes. I love that snowflake jar. I haven’t seen them in my store but I’m gonna go searching for it. I’m gonna fill it with fairy lights and use as a lamp. That hole will be great for the wire! Such fantastic finds. It certainly is the year of the bell!
Omg, need! NEED! Amazing, exciting video, love almost everything you bought. I also can't wait to see how you configure your decorations, they definitely need to go up soon 😊 (sorry Lisa's husband lol). Thanks for sharing all the great buys, I wasn't going to make the trek to the nearest Home Bargains as it's quite a distance but I am now! Xx
I loved this video some really nice things in the haul. You made me laugh when you said people were looking at you with all your bells but the bells are gorgeous. A great video I can’t wait to see how you put all your Xmas things out hope you do a decorate for Xmas video x
Love all the pieces you got, I'm obsessed with velvet bows & bells this year. You could tie one of the velvet ribbons around the jute of the tree it would look stunning. Great video Lisa. Thank you.
I managed to get that glass globe - but I'm not ggoing to use it for biscuit storage. It's perfect for filling with Christmas lights, those tiny ones on brass wire. Perfect in the kitchen! Thanks for the idea.
Hi Lisa, wot an amazing, beautiful haul😍😍. I loved every single piece u bought. I can just imagine you clanking around the shop now uve said it! Will you show us ho to upcycle if you decide to use the buff and rub please? I dont really know wot it is so i wud b really interested to see that. Cant wait to see all your items styled. Awww its lovely to feel so excited. Im the same! I love Christmas. Thankyou for sharing. Love from Mel. ♥️🎄♥️
Loving the haul some great bits. Can you tell me the colour of your kitchen cupboards my daughter wants to paint hers and your cupboards look a great shade .
What a haul this was that large drink dispenser is wicked the imagination runs wild what you can do with fairy lights and bits, this was a really good haul Lisa and it showed on your face that you were excited too, I call for more please ❤❤
Another great video Lisa. We're the biscuits for the Hot Chocolate station gluten free? As I have problems with my stomach. I absolutely love the cow bells, my late Dad used to say I had eyes like a cow so that's why I probably love them lol. Not everyone puts up Christmas decorations.. unfortunately we used to go away every year so didn't bother. Since losing Dad suddenly last May, we now spend it just with Mum.. she'll just put up a small tree. I absolutely love Rosie and follow her.... she lives about 1 hrs 30 mins from me, not far from where we had our family caravan for a very long time. The wreath is fantastic... I was going to make one this year, but don't feel upto it. Please take care and all my love xx ❤️
I've got those bells from home bargains but I'm finding the style of the bell a bit plain and too modern so I was thinking of slight "ridge" at the bottom to give it some dimension, I just haven't figured out what to use yet. Maybe some thick string. I don't know
Hi Lisa yay missed you and your videos ❤ loved it and the drinks dispenser wow just got Internet moved on the 1st of November don't have it on my phone just on my tablet hope you are well lots to catch up on 😊❤❤❤❤❤❤❤xxxxx
Managed to get myself 3 of the jumbo bells from The Range and agree they look a bit “shiny”. What colour RubnBuff do you think would be good to age a bit? Also ….love the ribbon box from Homesense……bargain !!
@@Karen-w9j Well done, not sure what colour rub n buff as I’ve not used before. I bought something from hobbycraft that I thought would be similar and it is awful! Xx
Hi Lisa , I read reviews of the jar of stuff you bought from hobby craft to use instead of rub n buff and people are saying it comes off 😖 I think you would be better using rub n buff and saving yourself some time huni . I really want one of those large glass bauble dispensers but they don’t sell them online 😢 I am housebound so will just need to like other peoples , if I could have got one I was going to put rice lights and baubles in it as a Christmas display /lamp thanks for sharing you haul huni ,hugs Katie from Scotland ❄️⛄️❄️
