The Dillion Brooks/ scrappy, instigator type players (Pat Bev, Alvarado, etc.) are some of my favorites. They just add a whole new layer for the product & keep the game fresh. Very entertaining.

@@konneranderson5116 folks say this shit like this but they dont watch Grizzlies basketball. DB is an extremely plus defender, and half of the time on offense, he’s taking those low percentage shots on broken plays in the half court.
@@DarkSoap84 he's a good defender but he's also giving up like 6 free throws a night so no matter how good he guards someone they wideopen at the free-throw line and even if he shot a half court shot every broken play that don't excuse his terrible shooting splits😂😂😂
@@konneranderson5116 To be honest, he rarely puts people at the line. His fouls are always very well timed. He rarely gets into foul trouble. He’s said himself “I get 6, I’ll use them”. And most times when he does it’s on a player that’s hot just to take the edge off the player and most times it works and they slow down and play less aggressive.
He was never a scorer, but he found rhythm before his injury. When he came back he was trying to find that rhythm again. Literally like every single player who gets injured (that’s not named Kevin Durant cause that guys broken). He also came back in the second round of the playoffs, not an ideal climate to find your scoring again but the grizzlies were injury ridden. Doesn’t take a genius to realise that it takes a non scorer longer to get back into scoring

As a Grizzleys fan, i always highly rated his defense, but i didnt know it was that good. Good on him, even though 50% of the time he just needs to get his head down and do the work instead of talking. When he recognises when and when not to talk shit and sorts his efficiency out, he will definitely be not only a very scary player on both ends, but also probably the most hated player ever, as people hate a good player

I'm fine with a villian player as long as that villian actually plays good basketball. It's why I love the bad boy pistons. They were slimey, dirty, trash talking, pieces of shit but they also rang out like 90% of the league. Dillon is just too trash to be talking all that.
