Circus has moves and originality, no doubt, but they transition between moves so slowly, that they have almost no chance to get any real flow or musicality into their sets. Their style is both an asset and a huge handicap when they face tough crews. There are also 0 abstract judges at events, so that doesn't help either.
Jimmyshk the word abstract is gonna be in b boying unfortunately and that is to bad. I did enjoy the category "circus" style. That is a bit more on point to what some dancers do. Take bits and pieces of all different kinds of movements and combined them into their own style.
