Well also isn't the woman he ends up with really smart? So not only does he have the concept down well, but he's got someone that with a few years of education can be a competent lab partner. My issue is more with the parts needed, the reason this movie happened was because the replacement part for the Delorean wasn't available through manufacturing for over 60 years from 1885, just having one more person working towards is wouldn't change that. Though I can kind of hand-wave that away given in the timeline where he lives longer than just the few months until September, he'd now have had several years to figure out how to replace certain manufactured parts, especially given that circuits in the 1940's would have been difficult to make independently, but not impossible as if it were a more modern circuit with much smaller scale manufacturing techniques required to etch. One thing that works in their favor probably is that since many parts being custom made would make them bigger and bulkier, a train would be a more suitable vehicle for increased component size, although a truck could work too. Not to mention with two smart people and combustion engines becoming available, they could have reasonably designed a fast enough car, though that would have been more work than retrofitting a train. The other commenter pointing out hoverboard tech is also making a good point, whatever powers that would probably be something worth studying to create more reliable propulsion for the train. I know it’s a little schmaltzy and campy, but I truly believe the Back to the Future trilogy is among the greatest works of cinema of all time. It is so profoundly impactful and beloved. I don’t know a single person who dislikes these movies. I really enjoy a heavy hitter like 2001 or The Godfather, but I hold this gem in the same esteem.
Knowing Doc, he probably made a deal with someone ahead of time since he does know exactly when he wants to arrive, he's done it already to get the letter delivered
Doc your telling me you built a Time Machine!… Out of a steam locomotive?!?!?! God I love this scene when I seen it as a kid not in theaters unfortunately but my love for trains back then was crazy and this popped up my eyes lit up a flying time traveling train I wanted one so bad lmao recently thought about this scene again randomly and it still does not disappoint
Speaking about the time train, what kind of disappointed me about the 2010 back to the future the videogame from telltales is that it didn't feature the time train at all. Fortunately it did feature the iconic Delorean time machine that was fully restored to its natural glory but I still wanted to see the time train as well.
The way Marty and Jennifer get blown off their feet. It's exactly the same way Marty gets blown off his feet in the guitar scene at the very beginning of the series.
Doctor Emmett Brown, Clara along ♥️ with their boys Jules and Verne. Nice family at the end with his happy story. The train 🚆 flies 🪰 with wings 🪽. Awesome 👌 🆒️ 🙌 👏 👍🏾 😍.
If any of you ppl are interested on where this Railway crossing is located,it was located on South Ventura Rd and Shoreview Dr at Oxnard,California near Ventura..it's on Google map.
"It runs on steam" is the general definition of most electricity production. Doc Brown needed two more sentences of description for the electricity generation process.
This man made a Time Machine from pure steam power. Doc needs to ditch all those phonies on his mantle and look himself up in the history books, because he is a damn God
Here is something to think about: Comparing Back to the Future II and III to Karate Kid: Both Marty McFly and Daniel Larusso had an old man as a mentor. Both Marty McFly and Daniel Larusso had an enemy they had to beat up in order to win. But Marty McFly and Daniel Larusso both had two other things in common. Both lived in California and both had Elisabeth Shue playing their girlfriend. Scary, isn't it?
To those who are wondering where the Brown family time traveled to after this, the comics say that they went to September 1939 to visit the New York's World Fair. While there, two German spies believe Doc is Albert Einstein who simply shaved off his mustache.
Good old Sierra Railway #3. Quite possibly THE movie star locomotive. Her whistle was sampled for use on the Polar Express which, coincidentally, also has a flux capacitor as an easter egg.
to be clear, the steam locomotive may well be Nuclear again, as it is distinctly lacking a coal car, might even be more efficient as he doesn't need to generate 1.21 gigawatts in the back of a car XD
If you look at Verne at 2:09, the actor is making a signal that he needs to go to the bathroom. They ended up leaving it in because this was the best take 😆
I wish Jennifer was in Parts 2 and 3 more. We barley saw her and Marty interact with one another to know what their relationship is like. If Jennifer was in the movies more, we could've seen their relationship build up so we can like their pairing in such a special way. In addition, we could've seen Jennifer find out in 2015 how their marriage was falling apart and going through marriage counseling. With that, Jennifer would take this opportunity to try to fix that by having her and Marty go through certain changes to make their relationship improved. Plus, I think Jennifer could've been really helpful on the adventure Marty and Doc went through in these movies. Would've been interesting to see what she could've done in 1955 and 1885. I think it would've been fun to see her and Marty square dance in this movie as Doc danced with Clara.

@@merclb56 Yes, he was able to recover components from a device from 2015 which could make people levitate. That kind of tech surely helped.
@@amm019 I always thought that too.
Wonderful advice and given in such a wholesome way 02:08
Look at the kid next to the dog in 2.06

Two kids and a dog?!? 😁! I was so happy for Doc. He spent so much time by himself being a brilliant inventor and scientist he deserved to settle down and be happy. I always hoped his kids would follow in his footsteps… 👍🏾!
Same here. Doc deserved his happy ending.
I can watch this 3 movies a hundred time each and still enjoy each time. Such a great trilogy.
Kid signaling to go to the bathroom at 2:08 the little one 😂
This is my comfort movie
Never get bored
just watched all three of the series again one of my favorites from my childhood and got tears rolling I just love it and will show this to my future kids 😅🙌🏻🙌🏻
2:06 that kid is a menace 😂
Pi-pi
Lmao 2:07 Docs smallest kid bascially said come here and blow.😅😂
This is and will always be the best trilogy ever in my opinion.
I love that the dividers actually came down for this train. Either it took decades of planning, or they had a mind of their own.
Knowing Doc, he probably made a deal with someone ahead of time since he does know exactly when he wants to arrive, he's done it already to get the letter delivered
This is what life's all about.
That feeling you just felt as the train went on
The perfect ending for a trilogy.
Pay attention to the boy next to the dog

Emmett: This is our boys!
Jules
And Verne
20-year old me: Heh. Now i get it
Doc your telling me you built a Time Machine!… Out of a steam locomotive?!?!?! God I love this scene when I seen it as a kid not in theaters unfortunately but my love for trains back then was crazy and this popped up my eyes lit up a flying time traveling train I wanted one so bad lmao recently thought about this scene again randomly and it still does not disappoint
You’re telling us all the great joys I share.
your video is super cool my friend ❤❤❤greetings of good health and success always🥰🥰🥰🔥🔥
The Time Train, along with a newly rebuilt Delorean time vehicle, would later appear in "Back to the Future: The Animated Series"!
Speaking about the time train, what kind of disappointed me about the 2010 back to the future the videogame from telltales is that it didn't feature the time train at all.
Fortunately it did feature the iconic Delorean time machine that was fully restored to its natural glory but I still wanted to see the time train as well.
I hope they will make a Lego version of this train cause I might want it
I bought a kit and built it!

The way Marty and Jennifer get blown off their feet. It's exactly the same way Marty gets blown off his feet in the guitar scene at the very beginning of the series.
Never noticed that, but you’re totally right - this franchise is loaded with so many amazing callbacks and self-references!
Well....a steam locomotive suddenly appearing displaces a lot of air....that air has to go somewhere!
このシーン一番忘れられません。これ以上のラストはないような気がします。正に傑作。
Doctor Emmett Brown, Clara along ♥️ with their boys Jules and Verne. Nice family at the end with his happy story. The train 🚆 flies 🪰 with wings 🪽. Awesome 👌 🆒️ 🙌 👏 👍🏾 😍.
DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES DO A REMAKE OR REBOOT OF THIS SERIES. This was the perfect ending to the trilogy.
When she asks about the note from the future. Look at the little kids hand behind doc. 😂
Driving the steam locomotive flying it must be cool, love the handbrake in mid air before pulling the horn 🎉
That model shot is gorgeous!!!!!
A family travelling thru time and space together on adventures. Sounds cool!
I can never watch this scene without getting all misty eyed. Still trying to get my 13-year-old son to watch the trilogy with me. Just movie Magic.
Didn't notice little Verne's hand gestures did ya?? 2:07
Do you the think Doc ever came back to check in on Marty? Maybe send him another Western Union package?
@@dylancooper3690 I would like to think they stayed in touch. No Western Union necessary with the Time Train.
I’m pretty disappointed the car was destroyed but the train is really cool as well
If any of you ppl are interested on where this Railway crossing is located,it was located on South Ventura Rd and Shoreview Dr at Oxnard,California near Ventura..it's on Google map.
Neat! About a 2 hour drive!
"It runs on steam" is the general definition of most electricity production. Doc Brown needed two more sentences of description for the electricity generation process.
Doc’s train was Steampunk before Steampunk became popular.
I thought I watched it for the first time on DVD in late 2006 when I was sixteen years old. It's a great film.
This is the ending all steampunk enthusiasts wanted
Yes
*STAND BACK*
Literally takes one half step back
Proof the railroad crossings are magic. They can detect a train coming through time.
2:08 That kid scratching himself
Don’t think he was scratching anything. He was gesturing.
I heard that the child actor needed a bathroom break and that’s how he gestured when he needed to go and this was never caught in the editing room lol
He had to pee during the take
@@AndrewKarmona what was he deaf and dumb or handicapped or something. Come on man surely you don't believe that excuse
I can't unsee this!
The rotating brush between the huge magnets always gets me! 🤣
I too thought it was a brush, but after taking a closer look, I suddenly realized that it's not a brush. Its a bunch of copper wire coils.
This man made a Time Machine from pure steam power. Doc needs to ditch all those phonies on his mantle and look himself up in the history books, because he is a damn God
Nice profile picture. Another Gorillaz fan spotted.
The Future is Coming On
@ 🥁🥁🥁🥁Finally Someone let me outta my cage!
We all have only one future so make it a good one
Here is something to think about:
Comparing Back to the Future II and III to Karate Kid:
Both Marty McFly and Daniel Larusso had an old man as a mentor.
1:46 this part always warms my heart🥲
Thank you Doc .
Good old Sierra Railway #3. Quite possibly THE movie star locomotive. Her whistle was sampled for use on the Polar Express which, coincidentally, also has a flux capacitor as an easter egg.
never noticed that, something to watch for now!
2:08 Boy: come on cameraman , come on 😅
When that Time Train takes off…I’m 7 years old again…
2:07 WTF is that kid next to the dog doing with his hand?!?!?!? Is he pointing at his crotch or what?! Can't unsee that now.
Call for pedos.
Even now I am deeply moved!
oh my god. I love this Train - Time machine so much.
IT super mega cool.
My mother loves how the time train’s doors open and close…a little nod to the Delorean.
I LOVE THIS FRANCHISE.
the blonde boy is doing some gestures
2:05 - Surprised they didn't do a retake given the kids funny hand gesture.
After plutonium, lightning strike and Mr. Fusion, it now "runs on steam"
I guess the only thing that a time machine can't run on, is consistency.
Evolution at its finest
to be clear, the steam locomotive may well be Nuclear again, as it is distinctly lacking a coal car, might even be more efficient as he doesn't need to generate 1.21 gigawatts in the back of a car XD
One of the coolest Loco that i ever seen.
If you look at Verne at 2:09, the actor is making a signal that he needs to go to the bathroom. They ended up leaving it in because this was the best take 😆
GREAT SCOTT!!! Esses filmes marcaram o mundo!
I would never forget the day I saw the first two “Back to the Future” movies for the first time: December 21, 2012.
I was 9 years old at the time.
Great job 👏
